Rydel's POV
Rydel:Sid...what's wrong with me? Why was I bleeding?
He looks at me and his expression change to one I can't even describe
Ratliff:Prin...there's nothing wrong with you but...some things happened.
Rydel:What happened?
Ratliff:I can't find the words to tell you that
Rydel:Just say it! I wanna know!
Ratliff:Prin...the reason you were bleeding it's because you were pregnant
Rydel:I was pregnant?! What do you mean by was?
Ratliff:The blood in your legs...it's because you were losing the baby...when you arrived at the hospital,there was no chance to save you and the baby so...we chose you
Rydel:You had the chance to save the baby and you didn't?!
Ratliff:The doctor said the baby was too young and that it wouldn't survive...that the best choice was saving you...because you can get pregnant again.
I don't know what to say.I wanna yell at him for not saving the baby.Our baby! But there's a part of me that feel that the doctor is right that I can have another baby.Most of me feel guilty.Guilty because I lost the baby.I didn't even know that I was pregnant.Maybe if I had not been stubborn when Alexa and Kylie told me that I was pregnant and went straight to the doctor,I could have safe the baby.
Rydel:But there's a reason why I was bleeding...not because the crash but something else
Ratliff:The doctor said it's because your system didn't react well to a baby because you take the shots and pills...and the doctor can't even explain with all the protection you took how you got pregnant.
Rydel:Ok...
Ratliff:Hey,look...it's not your fault.Not mine...it's no one fault...one day later in a not so far future,you'll get pregnant again...and we'll be amazing parents...you absolutely sure...me,well,I'll try.
Rydel:This is just non sense...I don't even know what to say or feel.
Ratliff:Just...come here.
He opens his arms and I hug him.He hugs me back tightly and I cry really hard.I just wanna cry.
Kylie's POV
We're outside Rydel's room.Ratliff is gonna tell her what happened.I don't know how Ratliff will say to her but I'm sure he'll use the right words.Ryland has his arms around me and I'm hugging him by the waist.
Riker:Can we just come in?
Mark:Riker! No!
Stormie:Riker,your sister will only want to stay with Ellington for a really long time...once she's ready,she'll look for her brothers.
Riker nods at her and Vanessa hugs him.Stormie knows how Rydel must feel because her first child with Mark,she lost it.We wait for about an hour until Ratliff comes out the room.
Rocky:So...how she react?
Ratliff:As we expect...badly and guiltily...I manage to calm her down and make her sleep.
Stormie:It's expect that she reacts like that...the doctor passed here and said that tomorrow morning she'd realist her to go home
Ratliff:Ohh...I think she'll want to stay at our place...she wants to be alone
Mark:Yeah,we expect that too.
Ratliff:I'll stay tonight with her so could you fix things for me there?
Kylie:Sure...before going home,we'll pass there and make sure things are in place.
Ratliff:Thanks,Kyl.
We say our goodbyes and we give a last check on Rydel that was asleep now before going to her place.
Ratliff's POV
The next day...
Today is the day I'm bringing Rydel home.She is ready when the doctor pass by and tell she can go home.We pack everything up and leave the hospital.We go to the hospital parking lot to avoid the papa raid but I'm sure they'll be waiting for us outside.We get in my car and buckled up.We both put our sunglasses and leave the hospital.Like I assumed,paparazzi are all over the place.I drive home,getting there after 30 minutes.We get in the apartment and everything is in it's place.The others must have put it in order.That reminds me I should text then to tell we're home.
Rydel:I'm gonna take a shower...take off that hospital mood.
Ratliff:Ok...I'm gonna see something's and join you soon.
She nods at me getting in our room.I pick my phone and text Riker
"Ratliff 🎩 - We're home...tell the others"
"Riker 😎 - Ok...how's she?"
"Ratliff 🎩 - Fine but not so talkative...like your mom said she'd be"
"Riker 😎 - Later we'll pass by there...try to talk to her"
"Ratliff 🎩 - Sounds like nice because I don't know what to do to cheer her up"
"Riker 😎 - Maybe you should ask dad what he did with mom."
"Ratliff 🎩 - That's a nice idea! See ya later,bro "
"Riker 😎 - Laters,bro"
I lock my phone and go my room.I hear the shower.I go to the bathroom and Rydel is taking her shower.I take off my clothes and join her.She hugs me and I rub her hair.We took our shower together for about 30 minutes.We get off and change into comfy clothes.We sit in the couch watching TV.She has her head laid in my lap.The Lynches arrive when it's almost dinner time bringing pizza.Their visit seemed to cheer Rydel up.Everybody was talking at the living room when I asked Mark to talk to him.We went to mine and Rydel's office and I close the door.
Mark:So is this the conversation you ask me to marry Rydel?
Ratliff:Not yet...actually I wanna ask you how you got Stormie's mood up when this happened to her
Mark:Well...it was a tough time for Storm...I took her on a vacation to Hawaii...we didn't have Riker back in the time so it was a lot easier.
Ratliff:Hawaii?
Mark:Yeah...because Storm likes hot places but Delly is more fan of a cold place.
Ratliff:Yeah...how much time Stormie lost the baby you took her to Hawaii?
Mark:Almost a year...but I should have done it sooner because she got one hundred percent better after...we even think Riker was made there...but your objective is not get Rydel pregnant,right?
Ratliff:Yes,it's not...it's actually to make her feel better.
Mark:Great...choose a place and go with her...I'm sure it'll make her feel better...at least it'll make her leave this whole confusion...because Rydel has the spotlight on her and Stormie didn't.
Ratliff:Yeah...I'm gonna do that.
We left the office getting back to the living room.They left it was almost 11pm. Me and Rydel laid in our bed and for me it seemed the perfect opportunity to bring the subject trip up
Ratliff:So...what do you think about traveling now ?
Rydel:Traveling?!...I don't know...it could be good, but to where?
Ratliff:That's up to me...don't worry
She smiles at me.Ohh,how I missed this smile.I lend in and kiss her.We kiss very slow and passionate.We let go of the kiss and she lends on me laying in my chest.We cuddled and we ended up sleeping
