Never would Winny have thought she would be abused by her own father and brother. Thinking after her mom died she would feel safe in the arms of her dad and brother, but she was wrong. Every day dealing with her father who turned into a drunk after her mother Delilah past away and her brother who would beat her simply just taking the anger out on his younger sister for the rough life that he lives, of course being 20 he could have moved out but never could find it in his heart to leave behind the only family he had who somewhat cared for him.
Winny Evans a simple 18 year old girl doing her best in school just to leave the house she had no choice but to live in. And you would think 'call the police and get them arrested for what they have done' but she has multiple times. But the police never did anything due to the lies her father says and the bruises that were never left, but after the cops left the beating would get worse, her dad not caring anymore if he left a bruise or a scar from the cuts he made by hitting her with the metal belt. He made sure that she wouldn't call again her knowing it won't get better only worse.
At school, Winny never made friends afraid that someone will find out what happens at home, not wanting to take the chance of being hurt anymore by the man that causes so much to already happen. Also not wanting any one she takes home be hit by him too. But one person was able to end it all, protecting her and showing the love and affection she longed for. She worshipped him and adored him. They quickly bonded and she let him in so fast not only making a friend but finding the love of her life.
It always called for a great story time to other couples but in reality it was still a horrifying thought that lingered in the back of her head. Trying desperately to forget what happened flashbacks still come here and there but with this one boy around everything else falls apart and to her they are the only two that exsist in the universe they just happen to call their name.
