That dreaded nightThe car slows to a stop and I quickly try to get my eyeliner done in the small mirror before it starts again. Finally satisfied I pull back to have a quick look.
I quickly blend a couple of places with my cold fingers to even out the most obvious imperfections.
That would have to do. Danny was never bothered about my makeup anyway but I liked to look my best for him.
I finally sit back and look around, only noticing now that we had stopped in front of the old warehouse rather than Danny's house at the other side of the train tracks.
"What the fuck are you doing Oscar, we're going to be late!"
"It's a surprise," is Oscars only response as he gets out of the car.
He walks around and politely opens the door for me. I shiver as a gust of icy wind floods the already chilly car.
I get out my phone to see there's no messages, leaving me confused again.
Danny always loved surprising me because I hate surprises. I guess that was why he was so excited today.
"If that bald idiot made me dress up all nice just to come to the fucking warehouse I will slaughter him."
I open my phone to shoot him an angry text but Oscar plucks it from my hands before I get the chance.
"I'll have that thank you," he says as he walks towards the warehouse door.
Did Danny have to bring me at night? He could have at least told me to bring a torch. He knows I hate it here in the pitch black.
"Give me my phone back right now!"
I stumble from the car, my heals immediately sinking into the soft grass. I try to speedily tip toe towards Oscar, not wanting to be alone here at all.
"I swear to god I will kill him! Fancy restaurant my arse!"
I finally make it to the doorway having lost Oscar somewhere within the shadows.
I expect to see at least one flashlight but there's none. Why does he even want me here?
"Danny?" I call.
Someone wraps them self around me from behind, kissing up and down my neck.
And it's definitely not Daniel.
I claw at the persons hands, struggling to get away from their lips and scream so loud my ears pop. Instantly I realise he's stronger than me so I only scream louder as I struggle.
"Danny!" I shriek.
I hear my familiar ring tone blare to life, peacock by Katy Perry, the one Danny set for himself years ago.
"That's him now," the man speaks.
It's Oscar.
"What are you doing?! Get off of me!"
"Danny isn't the only one who loves this blue dress."
"HELP!"
"SHUT. UP!"
His hand clamps around my mouth, my phone blaring to life again with Katy Perry.
I try everything. Biting, kicking, screaming, scratching. It doesn't work.
He pulls me further into the pitch black warehouse with ease despite my efforts at digging my heals into the floor.
I can hear my own screams echoed in here. His growls too.
