I've always liked hanging around Jada, with her long black curls and her beautiful porcelain face. The delicate aqua eyes I always adored also. She's my best friend, but also different to the rest of the girls. Her gentle tone of voice, the insecurity she'd always seemed to possess deep down, deep, deep down. Although I met her through my ex...and he cheated with her..I guess if she hadn't there would have been no Ava, her 6 month old beauty.

"I want you to meet my brother." She had spoke, gazing into my murky green eyes and biting her tender bottom lip. 'She has a brother?' I thought. 'We've known each other, what? Half a year now and I didn't know?' I should have known, she seemed the type to have a brother.

I crept off her bed , leaning on the windowsil, I gazed out of the window.

"Sooooo, when?" I asked

"Whenever, Casper's at his now."

"Ooh, he is?" I said with a tone of mock-surprise in my voice. "The little sneak!"

I couldn't wipe the smirk of my face, Casper just had to get me curious like that.

I'm not much of a social creature, so I wasn't really keen on the idea of meeting Jada's brother but I guess, anything for her..

She parked up her little blue volks wagon into his drive and padded over to open the door on my side of the car. I trailed behind Jada following each of her steps from behind, she then tapped on the patterned glass door infront of her.

It opened and I instinctively grabbed the cuff of Jada's sleeve. Realising who it was, I then dropped my hand from her sleeve and rolled my eyes at the figure standing before me.He looked me up and down with a cheesy grin on his face.

" 'Eloooo Jade!"

"Aye, lemme in you." I smirked

It had been Casper standing in his stance, hanging onto the doorknob. He was an attractive young man, although I didn't have the slightest interest in him. Jada grabbed my hand and slid inside the doorway, she guided me through an open door and pulled me up behind her.

I glanced over her shoulder to see two figures slouched apon leather seats, a fairly tall man, married with a ring of gold around his finger, the other taller, darker skinned, his black tank ripped with muscles and his arms scarred with ink drawings.

" 'Sup sis..." He mumbled

"Hey, this is THE Jade."

"Ooooh so she's Jade." The figure examined.

"Jade, this is my brother, Jaden."

I peeped at him slightly. 'Kinda... sexy, shit.' I thought.

" Hey Jaden. " I casually said. Well as casual as I go.

"Sup." Jaden seemed to state this rather then ask.

"We goin' Opal's then?" Jada questioned Jaden as if not to ask but to command. Opal? Who's Opal?

I felt so awkward at Opal's not knowing anyone except Casper and Jada. Although there was only a few of us, I still felt out of place. I could see the side glances Jada was giving Opal. Oh, so that's why she 'asked' to come here. It was obvious the attraction that Jada had for Opal.

I would have slunk back in the chair if I could, but I was sitting on the arm of the chair inwhich Jaden was sitting in. I felt slightly jealous of Opal, she was fairly pretty and certainly got Jada's attention which irritated me the most. I decided to focus my attention else where, I looked down at the dog besides Jaden's chair and smiled at him.
