Maria POV

It was August 24th, Maria started, she is a Junior, high school today. She was known as "The daughter of sluts" as her parents, Richard Lewis and Susanna Van Der Burgh, both had an affair, while they were about to get married, her mother and father broke up, they went and saw other people, Maria was currently dating James Reynolds, she was excited to see him.

Maria arrives to school "MARIA!" she heard her boyfriend yell "James!" she says running over to him, "How's it going gorgeous?" He smiles hugging her "Mari! Jam!" Elizabeth yelled "Eliza!" James yelled, Peggy and Angelica came up from behind her, James smiles at them "The Schuyler sisters!" Peggy winked at him "You know it!" Peggy said in her childish voice, she was a freshman, but she was already adored by the whole school, "Peggy! stay away from my man!" I joked, she smiled "Maria! I miss you!" Me and peggy were always close, but not as close as me and Eliza. "HEY LOOK ITS THE QUEEN OF SLUTS!" Layette yelled, that french bastard... "Layette, go back to fucking a baguette!" James yelled, Layette laughed and went back to John Laurens and Alexander, that hot guy who Eliza was dating. I look at Angelica "what do you see in Layette?" "hes amazing~ his french accent is amazing~" she drools over him "Ima go over to him~" she walks over to him, In return, Hamilton comes over "Eliza~" he sung "Alexander!" she smiled hugging him, I smiled at Alex "Hey ham" "Maria! my favourite slut!" he says clearly joking "haha, same goes"  he notices James "Hey bud! we gotta get to Study Hall before Mr. Burr tries to duel us" he snickers, the two walk off, leaving Peggy, Eliza and me alone "So peggy! whats your first class?" Peggy groans "Maths with Mr. Hamilton" I laugh "have fun!" i push her into the direction of the class, i grab eliza's hand and dash to our first class. French with Mr. Jefferson, as soon as we entered the bell rung "Maria, Eliza, almost late on the first day?" I snicker, "Désolé monsieur, nous aidions un étudiant de première année" he smiles at me "good to know you learned over break" I finger-gun at him and then sit down beside Eliza!

As I sit down I hear "HEY LEWIS! WHO'S DICK YOU SITTING ON NOW?" I sink into my chair, the whole class start laughing, including Eliza "I'm sitting on a chair, plus the only dick I'd sit on is my boyfriends" I say somewhat quietly, the teacher glares at the person who said it "Laurens. I will NOT have that language in my class! detention for 2 weeks!" he looks at me "Maria, see me after class." I sigh "Oui monsieur.." he smiles and starts with the class

The bell rings

"great..." the other leave "I'll wait outside Mari" Eliza smiles, I nod and walk up to the teacher "Maria Lewis, are they bothering you?" I opened my mouth to say yes, but that would be weak.. "No, why would they?'' ''Est-ce que tu me mens?" I shake my head "Non, Ça ne me dérange pas" I smile, He nods "you may go" I go to leave "but, I want you to visit the counselor" I nod "okay, Sir" I walk out "Maria!" Eliza yells "what?" I say pissed off "jeez... why are you angry?" I glare at her "maybe cause my best friend laughed when someone said shit about me.." I say looking down "I'm sorry........." she sighs "Don't be..." James and Hamilton walk over, fighting over who studied longer "babe!" I smile hugging him, Eliza walks over to Hamilton "Best of girlfriends, best of women~" he sings, she smiles kissing him.

I kiss James, "hey babe~" he winks at me, I turn to Eliza, she and Alexander were so desperately in love, but if I'm honest... I'm only dating James for the sex, he's pretty damn good at it, Aaron burr walks over to Hamilton "Hamilton, you want to go to the bar?" "Sure!" He smiles
