I was 6 when I witnessed my mother getting shot clean in the head, by a guy in a black suit with a bandana over his mouth. The bullet went straight through, you could see chunks of her brain exiting her skull from behind; blood was vigorously pouring down the back of her shirt. It was completely horrifying.

Her arms flew into the air as she toppled backward, hitting the floor. I can still remember hearing the thud when she tumbled on the wood floor.

Her eyes were wide open as if she was alive and in shock. The blood on her forehead now pouring down watery like forming a massive blood puddle as her head laid stiffly around.

Seconds later, my dad heard the shot and came fleeing down. It did not take him long to perceive what was going on. Just then, he ran to my mother as she laid there lifeless. "Honeyyyyy!!!" he sobbed as his bloodshot eyes filled with tears, kneeling down grabbing her hand ever so tightly.

He stood up raging "WHAT DID YOU DO!!" as he charged at the bandana man then, three more shots went off while I tried to cover my ears to shield the sound. All movement stopped for a moment, everything was silent. No shots, no screaming, nothing; until another thump of his body hitting the floor as well.

I could hear him gasping for air, as he laid on the floor choked on his blood. I started to rock back and forth, shaking my head side to side whispering "1...2...3... the flowers are so sweet. 4...5...6...". keep them closed when you're sick"." trying to disguise the sounds around me.  The rhythm I repeated   and Reaching his hand over toward my mother's pale body, sobbing "I love you."

He turned his head over in his last moments looking straight into the wardrobe where I was. His eyes flooded with tears as his breathing got heavier and heavier by the second. He closed his eyes then mouthing "I love you" as his slipped away from me.

I broke down trying not to make a sound. I didn't want to die I whispered: "I love you too."

Then my brother Cylise started screaming his lungs out, he was only about 5. The guy made his way toward the stairs, just then

I saw his gun as he passed the closet I was in.

It was silver and gold with a lion on the handle, I've never seen one like It before In that type of design.

He went upstairs as Cylise hollered even louder, I heard another gunshot suddenly everything was silent. Not a word, not a cry, not a sound. Just complete silence.

I sat down as I realized I was alone and had no one. Everyone was dead and then there was me. I urged my legs up towards my chest tightly hugging them trying to become invisible.

I started hearing creaks in the stairs as he made his way down the steps and out the door, shutting it so quietly I could barely hear it. Remaining there for a good minute, I finally decided to come out. The closet door screeched as It opened gently. Getting out one foot at a time.

They were just laying there, substantial blood puddles under them. Coasting over to them, I placed my hand on my dads face. He was cold as ice, and his lips were blue like he was eating a blueberry popsicle.

"Dad" I bawled shaking him "Dad" Knowing he was dead. He sometimes pretended to sleep at night when I couldn't,

then after me shaking him, he would open his eyes tickling me, then putting me between him and my mom as they hugged me tightly.

My Mom kissed me on my forehead and song me to sleep.

"Rest little baby close your eye, let me and daddy hold you tight, make those dreams bright and wise until you wake when the sunrise."

I Just want him to open his eyes again, I knew he wouldn't. I would never get to see them smile or laugh as we played as a family.

I would never hear my mom sing me to sleep anymore or hug me before I went to school.

I was alone....

I kissed both of them on their forehead, whispering "I love you" in their ears so they could hear me, while they were in heaven.

Standing up, about to go upstairs. The doors burst open with a bright light blazing in my eyes. I put my hands out trying to shield the brightness.

That's when male and female officers approached me, telling me to come to them. I continued on trying to go upstairs too Cylise telling them "no."

The male officer grabbed me, picking me up trying to walk out the door but I squirmed while yelling trying to get out.

I kept screaming and trying to fight them off, but it was no use. He placed me in the car locking it.

I looked out the window sobbing saying "I'm sorry."
