My lover does not return until May 19th. After finishing my application for the Oboe's Anonymous Orchestra for the Exquisite Oboe Performers, I turned to see Shrek, standing in my room. "Young Adolph," he says in a thundering ogre tone." Bring me a bucket of water," I do not question his strange request. Shrek knows what I like. I sprint out of my house, and fill up my limited edition Dracula Halloween Candy bucket, which has been passed down through generations of my family, and fill it with hose water from outside my house. On the way back to my room, I am very careful, for I do not want to spill any of the water; it might upset him. When I return into my room, my big green ogre smiles wide. 'Dump it' he mouths to me.
My lovers request is once again strange, be he knows what's best for me. I slowly pour out the entire bucket of water onto my Lelo and Stitch collector's rug signed by Nani Pelekai herself. "Listen Adolph," he says." This is my swamp," As the last word escaped his mouth, he dropped to the floor and began to frantically and rapidly flair his large limbs in delight, all while humming the Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader theme song. I'm utterly speechless. It is the sexiest thing that I have ever seen. At the end of his ritual, he immediately jumps to his feet. "Adolph, do you love me?" Shrek asks. I have been thinking of my answer for countless days and nights. And I have come to a conclusion.
"Yes. I love you Shrek." I reply with confidence.
My great green beauty lets out a powerful roar that makes me tingle. "Then come, Adolph." He holds out his hand, and I place mine in his. We intertwine our fingers, and he takes me out, into the world, where we can always be together.
