Prometheus

Chapter 1

(Hey guy and gals this is my first book I am always open to  constructive criticism. If you love the book vote it. If you hate it don't all I care about is that you guy enjoy it. This will be a very short story. I'm not that big of a writer so prepare to be amazed.)

"Today is the day." You said with a glimmer in your eye "I finally get to go to the first and only outer Solar system space station."

The year is 4045 you work at the space center ASAP. You and your colleague are the first generation to explore and analysis the Galaxy . The smartest out of the two of you is Levi Flint he is the person you wanted to be. You on the other hand barely have everything that was needed. You slept in and  forgot to wear your uniform. Really the only things you needed were clothes and a music device. 

" Well what do you think Levi?" You said hoping to get a reply 

" I-I think it is wonderful just look at the curves of that space ship wouldn't you agree Eva!"He said with an over the top voice

" I do agree what do you think we should call her I say the Silverhold Swift, the Ariel Swift, the Stellar Explorer,and the Constellation." You said taking a while thinking of the last name

" I think she should be called the Alexandra." He said with the utmost confidence

"Hmmm mabye are you sure that is the best name you could think of?" You said

"No, not really the other name would be the Prometheus but that name really fits a space station." He said

"I agree it does fit for a station. The Alexandra it is then." You said

A speaker sounds "That's our cue" Levi said while running twords the space craft.

"Last one there's a rotten egg." You said while sprinting to Alexandra

You got there before Levi did but, he was already there. That he is Joseph none know his last name and, if someone did they were long gone. "Hey there Eva watcha doin?"

"N-nothing really just going to ship that is almost ready for launch." You said cowering  beneath your suitcase

Something always felt off when you talked to him. Like he already knew what you were going to say. Also that he better than anyone in a running contest and you were the opposite in every single way.

"I-I better get going or I-I might miss the only ship I need to get on." You said still cowering beneath your suitcase.

"Same here." Joseph said following you up the stairs leading to the entrance of the ship.

"Why are you following me?" You said shivering in fear

"I'm following you because you are not the only one who is going idiot." Joseph said in annoyance

You walk in find your seat and wait for Levi. Levi was actually waiting for you he was in the front seat but, you were not going to leave your seat. So you told him to suck it up and sit by yourself.

You put your headphones on and started to play Be A King by e-dubble. You fell asleep in the middle of the song.
