Hanahaki - An illness born of a one-sided love, where the patient throws up and coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. The infection can be removed through surgery, but the feelings disappear along with the petals.
The Hanahaki Disease (花吐き病) is very common in the world, but people who get it usually remove the disease surgically, if their feelings aren't returned in the next month( of course confessing first most of the time). Since the disease sprouts from the lungs the result can be fatal if not removed in the next few months.
Almost every teenager attending Voltron High get Hanahaki, but everyone handles situations in different ways, right?
