Ashley's Pov:
I woke from my sleep as I went downstairs to make breakfast for all of us as Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst came from their rooms and ate breakfast. "So whats are mission again" I asked Pearl as I washed my dishes and went to go change into my cloths which was a long white skirt that stops at my feet covering my legs and a long sleeve shirt that has a crystal gem on the middle along with my necklace that I had made. My hair was curly but in a ponytail as I waited for the others to come.
"I already contacted the heaven and water beetle, so we will split up into teams: Me and Amethyst will be look for the Heaven beetle and you and Pearl will look for the water beetle." Garnet said as we went to our portals. AS me and Pearl were at a temple that was very beautiful by the shores of the ocean we then checked to see if the water beetle was there.
I then concentrated on my water power as the sea was sliced like a wall so I gotten the beetle and was about to go back to the portal when all of a sudden, I tackled Pearl as something tried to hurt her. "Pearl, are you okay." I asked her as I blocked the attack. "Yah, Im fine, what are those." She said as long sticks of shadows came out of the trees and attacked me. "Shadow leeches, come on, we have to leav- Ahh". I goarned as a leech bit my arm which was bleeding purple and red as I knew I was poisoned. Black dots surrounded me as we both gotten to the portal and came back to our house. "Glad your safe p-pearl." I said as darkness consumed me...
