Ok......I'm a Vampire. WHOA! I know. Okay well I've been one for 3 years. It took me 2 years to master my thirst of blood and abilities. Well... I haven't 'mastered' it ,but I have been controlling it very well. When I was 'welcomed' to the vampire world I was SCARED OUT OF MY MIND! I really thought I had lost it. It turned out I kinda did..... you are probably wonderin' how I became this, well it started on a Tuesday morning in July.

I was 13 at the time and well, 13 year old teens and summer do not mix when they have NO friends. My schedule was the same:

- wake up

- go for a run with my younger bros

- freshen up

- make lunch

- read

- dinner

- read some more.

That was my every day planned for the summer since I had NO friends. Okay back to the 'how I became a vamp'.

It was time for me to go on my run with my younger bros like always, but when I was ready to leave out the door they had company. Their little 'boyfriend'(BFF) was over to play a video game.( idk the title cuz I wasn't payin' attention) both of my younger brothers refused to go running that morning. I couldn't waste that morning because I had been eating very unhealthy and I didn't want to gain weight during the summer so I went by myself to burn it off. I know what your are thinking, what 13 year old girl in there right mind would go for a run in a small forest! I guess my mind is left.

OK...

I always ran to a small creek to hear the soothing nature and and have a small water break. I always saw Ms. Huff in the morning because she had a 'healthy' life instead of mine, but hey I'm not complaining. When I reached the creek I didn't come across her that day it was very unusual. When I was about to continue my run I saw a guy just strolling down the path towards me. He had jet black hair with a few blonde highlights and his eyes were a calming blue. I don't usually make eye contact with people because I didn't socialize which made me friendless. But for some odd reason I made eye contact. I grabbed my water bottle and turned my heel in the opposite direction because I had a very dangerous vibe coming from the guy that looked about 16 or 17, but when I turned around he was standing in front of me with a cute smirk plastered on his face. I was very curious of how he so quickly moved. I put that thought behind my head because he started to speak.

"What's your name, darling?" The stranger said with a breathe taking smile.

"Um.... I'm not allowed to speak to strangers, sorry, but I must head home now I have alot planned this afternoon." I said hesitantly. I knew I had nothing planned that day like everyday.

"Oh.. okay, well I'll make myself the opposite of a stranger. My name is Julian." He said with a hand out wishing for a hand shake.

I reached for his cold hand, it wasn't that cold because I was a naturally a cold person, which is another reason I didn't socialize. People were too warm.

"Good morning, Julian, I'm Amelia, but most call me Meli." I said with a slight smile, because there wasn't a 'most'.

"Amelia. It suits you. Can I take you home? Since I'm no longer a stranger?" He asked with a wink.

At that moment I thought to myself a hot guy is asking to take me home? Why not? Nothing to loose, right?

"Thanks and I will except your offer." I said confidently. I was surprised! I've never felt so AWESOME in my life!

"Okay Meli lets go then." He said with a small smile.

Since we walked to my house it took WAY longer than my usual running, but I didn't mind it was interesting talking to Julian. Julian was pretty cool. He just moved here from a neighboring city. He is VERY athletic, but he sees school far more important than the goofy sports played in school. I was very shocked when he said that he was more of a cat person than dog person, but enjoyed both as loyal companions. I was a dog person and FOREVER be a dog person. For once in my life I actually had a conversation with out starting an argument. When I usually talked to people I smart mouthed them and always started an arguement. I felt so proud.

When we arrived at my house my little brother departed from the XBOX to play basketball with there 'boyfriend' in our front yard. They froze in place when they saw Julian and I walking side by side. They ran like their lives depended on it inside and watched us from their bedroom window. Their life kinda did depend on it.

"I'm guessing those are your little brothers?" Julian asked with a light chuckle.

"Sadly, yes. Thanks for walking me home Julian. I guess bye?" I said with a nervous smile.

"You don't like my company? And I thought we were friends?" He said mildly offended. I rolled my eyes.

"I do like your company, and I didn't say we were friends I said your not a stranger. And I really got to go and bribe my little brothers to not tell my father." i said.

"Okay,okay I will go one occasion." He said. I crossed my arms and playfully glared at julian.

"And what would that be? 'cause I really need to go." I asked/pleaded.

"Tomorrow morning we have another walk." He stated.

"Hm tempting.... but I will have my brothers with me tomorrow. If your okay with that I'm okay with that."

"I'm definitely okay with that" He said and took my chin, and pecked my cheek quickly. I was TOO shocked to notice he was walking in the other direction.
