I walk into modern day Chinese restaurant with Morgan. Wow, it's beautiful, nice interior design and the type of place that welcomes you. I tell the lady at the front desk two please in Chinese.

"Oh, you speak Mandarin? I'm so impressed not a lot of people take interest in that language." She said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Oh well I'm always up for a challenge." I reply giving her a daring smile.

She quickly escorted us to our seats, asking for the usual, what to drink.

"I'm quite impressed Leah, who knew you would speak Chinese." Morgan said in a irritated voice.

"Thanks......Are you all right, if you don't want to be here fine. I just go to the dorm and finish unpacking!" I said clearly annoyed and raised my voice at the end.

"Who did what to you, huh?" She asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Alright, bye. I'm gone! I tried to be nice, get to know you and make conversation. But apparently I'm rude? Screw this!" I said angrily.

Morgan just stared at me with shock. Her mouth wide open. As I get up and push in my chair she stands up. I walk out the door, letting the summer breeze hit my body. All the sudden I feel something holding me back. It's Morgan, she has a tight grip on my wrist.

I turn my head slowly giving Morgan a death glare. My face softens once I see the sad expression on her face.

"I really am sorry. I didn't mean to have an attitude it's just, I'm not really a people person." She says sincerely.

"Well I couldn't see that." I said in a sarcastic voice.

"Wait, please.. Please give me one more chance. Lets start fresh like we just meet. Okay?" She said this in a pleading voice.

I looked in her eyes and saw sadness and regret. I will give her a chance. After all we all have our bad days, am I right or wrong?

"Okay let's start over. My name is Leah... Leah Crawford."
