Bad to Worse Chapter 1. Entry

It's 6:00 now and me and my friends Emily Mac, Nick Connor and I have arrived at St. Joseph's abandoned hospital on the east side of Peterborough. The old hospital had been shut down and abandoned because too many patients and employees were going insane from the paranormal happenings inside the building. Naturally we had to check it out.

We got out of our red mustang and walked toward what looked like a way in. I caught myself staring at Emily, her perfect hair, that beautiful smile and that determined look she got when she was focused on something. shut up I told myself, she's just a friend. That's when I noticed nick look at me and smirk. I knew that he had seen me stating at her.

Nick was medium height guy with an over the top attitude that usually got him into trouble. He'd been to jail three times but even so we'd been best friend since grade 7.

When we got to the door and fought about who had to go first it was finally decided that I should go first. I grabbed the knob and nick said "Don't worry Nolan you probably won't die!" "Thanks nick and welcome to St.Josephs." I said and walked in to my grave.
