They hug and kiss,
You cry and miss.
She holds her flowers,
You hold your heart together.
X's and O's fill cards,
Making this day so hard
To go through alone.
Can't wait to go home.
You wait for a change,
Love's always out of range.
This deepening lonely feel
Makes love seem unreal.
You get used.
You've been abused.
You're always left behind,
Wondering if you ever cross their mind.
Pick up your head,
You're not yet dead.
Carry on, keep moving.
Forever improving.
