Allah is Al-Hay (the Ever-Living), Al-Qayoom (the Self-Subsisting, the Sustainer of All). "Allah - there is no deity except Him - the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence." (Al-Imran: 2).

He has a perfect life. He needs no one, and everyone and everything is in need of Him, and everything and everyone is perishable except Him.
