"Where are you heading off to boys?" (Sounds like Crowley :^) Mrs.Hudson asked them right as they were heading out the door.

"We're going to the fair together." Sherlock answered not even looking and walked out the front door.

"Ooh Sherlock, finally John, you and him are going out together! I'm so happy for you two!" Mrs.Hudson said joyfully.

"We arn't dating Mrs.Hudson, we're just going to, just, hang out." John sighed.

"Oh. Well, have fun you two! I'll have tea ready for you both when you come back." Mrs.Hudson said almost sounding disappointed.

"Ok, thank you. We'll be back soon!" John said as he walked out the front door after Sherlock.

---------------------------------------------------------

"Two cotton candies please." Sherlock said to the cotton candy vender, as he handed two to Sherlock.

He handed one to the shorter man and started to walk off in the other direction.

"Thank you!" John yelled to the vender as he ran after Sherlock.

"Let's go on that one." Sherlock said pointing to the biggest roller-coaster in the fair as John caught up.

"Um. Can we finish our cotton candy first please? And we have other rides too, and fair games!" John said nervously.

Sherlock looked down at him with a confused expression on his face.

"Why? It will get your adrenaline pumping for later." Sherlock told John without hesitation.

"Excuse me, what? What do you mean 'for later'?" John asked the raven haired man confused and blushing.

"For the games. It's proven that adrenaline can help with these types of games. You need quick reflexes, and you need to be aware, and have accuracy." Sherlock said still staring up at the roller-coaster.

"Oh..." John said shyly looking away.

Sherlock looked back down at the sandy haired man.

"Why? What did you think I meant by it?" Sherlock questioned his friend.

"Oh uh n-nothing, I just- Hey! Let's try that game we can win that huge teddy!" John said swiftly changing the subject as he ran over the the one game stand with a giant teddy bear hanging from the top as a major prize.

"John?" Sherlock said as he ran after surprisingly quick friend.

"STEP RIGHT UP! STEP RIGHT UP FOLKS! SPIN THE SPINNER AND WIN A PRIZE!" The man running the game yelled trying to draw attention.

"How much to play?" John asked the man behind the counter who was puffing on a cigar.

"Three pounds my good man!" The vender said cheerily.

But before John could hand him the money Sherlock stopped him.

"What Sherlock?" John asked confused again.

"That game is so heavily rigged that it's almost impossible to win." The detective said aloud.

"And how did you deduce that?" John asked the taller man.

"Walking from the side I noticed that the major prize is thicker than the minor prize, and that's thicker than the loss. Therefore leading me to belive that it's weighted. But that's not it." Sherlock deduced getting closer up to the counter with the spinning wheel on it.

"On the minor prize piece it has a piece if wood sticking up so it hits the catch and slows it down to a loss. Not only that but he's a money scheming dickwad." Sherlock deduced further.
