It was dark night as everyone slept and rain fell as if all of God's angels were crying. Mikaela who was awake since he couldn't sleep had night watch, it was a boring job but he never complained. He really missed being human, being able to sleep along side his family and be consumed by a world of dreams where anything could happen. But this was reality and not the dream world he longed to go back to. As he walked he heard some shuffling along with some whimpers, he walked closer to the sound and noticed it came from Yuichiro. He quietly sneaked closer to him to see he was crying, a nightmare.

"Yuu-chan, wake up." He shook him lightly as he whispered his name comfortingly, he didn't want to wake everyone else and possibly embarrass him. Slowly Yuichiro came to it and opened his eyes, after a few seconds of silence a broken sob came out of him as he quickly hugged Mikaela as if he was going to leave and never come back.      

"M-Mika, I-I-I'm so s-s" He couldn't even form complete sentences but Mika knew what he was talking about and hugged him back. He whispered comforting words as he cradled him slowly back and forth, ever since he came to the orphanage until they tired to escape Sanguinem he was the one to comfort him.

"Hush now Yuu-chan, no need to cry. It was all a nightmare" Yuichiro looked Mikaela in his ruby eyes, how he missed those sky blue ones he used to have. But just because his sapphire eyes has now been consumed by the crimson ones, that doesn't mean they have the look he has loved for years and has what kept him going for revenge.

"M-Mika, c-can you sing that lullaby you used to sing for us b-back then" A smile spread across Mikaela's face as he took a deep breath. He used to sing it for them when they were little, his voice was so soft and true and they loved it. He began to hum the tune and it relaxed him.

His voice was heavenly as he sang the words he came to fall in love with, the ones that always sent him to sleep after a dream about his horrid parents, the ones he sang with passion, the ones that they love.

Even if my body's bleached to the bones
I don't want to go through that ever again  

This part was always his favorite, he doesn't know why but that didn't matter, he continued to listen to Mikaela's beautiful voice.

The humming died down as he stopped singing, his rosy eyes opened and met with Yuichiro's emerald ones and he gave a soft smile, he couldn't move since Yuichiro was holding for dear life onto him.

"Please stay with me, Mika" Mikaela nodded as he lied down next to Yuichiro who was still in a tight embrace. Yuu who eventually fell asleep looked so peaceful, and what shocked Mika that he was starting to feel tired himself, and slowly he fell into unconsciousness and returned to the world of dreams he missed.

Unbeknownst to them a crying Shinoa whispering the feels as a Mitsuba was holding back her own tears with three smiling dorks known as Kimizuki, Yoichi and Narumi were awake the hole time since Yuu woke them up.
