Fated To Meet You

House Party

Kim Taehyung's POV

I can't believe hyung told me about this party so last minute. Thank god these two dorky idiots didn't mind coming along with me. ^^

"Hyungg~~ how much further do we have to walk!?" Jungkook moaned whilst tugging at my arm.

"Awww does my baby want to be carried princess style?" said Jimin as he playfully  pinched Jungkook's cheeks.

I teased them and replied "Jeez guys get a room already! We're just around the corner, nearly there."

Oh Jesus they're just like kids, but they've been good friends to me ever since I started university. But man this walk is making me tired as hell, hopefully this house party is worth it though. :) 

A few minutes later

Ahh finally we've arrived. 

*ding dong* *ding dong* I pressed on the doorbell.

"I'm comiinnggg, wait a second" a cheerful voice echoed from the inside.

The door bursts open revealing a guy with a big smile on his face looking like a ball of sunshine. 

"Ahh Hoseok hyung, we finally made it, hope we're not too late." I greeted my friend with a hug.

Hoseok glanced towards the other 2 beside me, "I see you've brought your friends as well. Come on in", he invited us inside his house.

As soon as we stepped in, the music hit us like a shock wave. It was loud with the bass vibrating throughout the house, there were many unfamiliar people raving and jumping to the beat whilst holding their drinks in the classic red plastic cups. The vibe, the atmosphere made my adrenaline  pump and I knew I was ready to get smashed and hyped for tonight.

Hoseok hyung wanted us to follow him to the kitchen where the drinks and cups were. After we arrived to our destination he quickly excused himself saying he will be "back in a minute". "This place is lit innit?" I asked asked the boys. "Ya mate we have been too stressed out with our deadlines lately, but now it is done and over with tonight is the night we de-stress!" Jungkook raised a cup filled with alcohol in the air. "That's right lads we came to have fun, and we WILL have some fun!" joined along Jimin. After their marvellous speeches were over, we all made a toast and downed our drinks.

"Oh i see you guys don't hesitate and are already getting down to business huh" said a familiar voice. I turned around to see it was hyung, and tagging along with him were 3  unfamiliar faces. "Taehyung this is my course mate Yoongi and his friends" Hoseok introduced us. "Hi my name is Min Yoongi, "nice to meet you" a hand reached out from a man with pastel mint green hair and a gummy smile, I responded with a handshake "Nice to meet you too, I am Kim Taehyung". Jimin and Jungkook introduced themselves as my friends and housemates. The other 2 taller guys also introduced themselves as, Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin who were housemates with Yoongi.

This night was one of the best nights, met up with new people, made new friends and reunited with old ones. We sang, danced, had a blast wishing it would never end. Unfortunately it was way past midnight and all had to come to an end. The party was over, and everyone had already left. Jungkook was so drunk and smashed that I told Jimin to take him back to our house. I stayed behind to help Hoseok clean up, suprisingly  Yoongi had also stayed behind to help out. 

"Guys thank you sooooo much for staying behind and helping me out, you guys really are the best" said Hoseok whilst giving a pat on our heads. "Naa it's cool bruh, I'm the one that's happy for having been invited today" Yoongi smiled. "Well it has gotten very late and the sun is about to rise soon, hyung you should rest up and I should get going now" I said. Hoseok replied "Oh yea you guys should get going now. Taehyung go together with Yoongi, you guys live in the same neighbourhood".

Yoongi and I departed from Hoseok's house and started making our way back to our own. "So what degree are you studying?" I asked Yoongi. He replied with "I am a 3rd year music student, what about you?", "I am a 2nd year student doing agricultural sciences. My grandparents owns a farm, and ever since i was little I have been interested in farming :)" I smiled. 

We had a pleasant conversation and it felt as if we got to know each other a bit better, which was nice. However, our journey was coming to an end and we had to part ways. "Well this is where i live, thanks for dropping me off" said Yoongi. "Haha no problem at all, hopefully we will meet again" I grinned ;) ;). Before parting ways I asked for Yoongi's number and we exchanged our contact details. "Thanks and have a safe trip" Yoongi flashed his smile again which seemed angelic. "Bye" I waved at him whilst walking away.
