the shadow man

Chapter 1

I walked into the dank room I could smell the water and the rotting mold I opened a door and peeked around the corner there I saw a tall man staring at me with cold eyes as if he were trying to take my soul. I raised my eyebrows not knowing what to expect then he rushed at me his hands covered in dark blood knife in hand I ran as fast as I could but I tripped. The next think I knew he was on me pointing the knife at my heart he cut my arm my blood oozed out and then everything was silent.

I must have passed out I thought . My head was throbbing I tried to get to get up and I cried for help, but then I realized I was strapped to a table I was helpless.

      Chapter 2.

I turned my head but cried in pain he beat me up and cut me all I felt was pain. The only thing I remembered was him on me and I thought about my gf. I hope she is okay but I didnt have time to think about her I had to escape. I used all my energy to rip my hand out of the metal my hand dripped in blood the blood was dark red and smelled like iron. I ripped my other hand free and found a metal rod. I snuck up on the guy and knocked him out. I grabbed a gun and his wallet . I ran to the police and showed them what I found, they said they would investigate.

     Chapter 3.

I ran home and called my gf's name no answer. I searched my whole house but only found a black footprint and the window open. I looked in her room to see nothing changed but then I looked in her drawer and her emergency knives were gone. I looked through my room and the kitchen to discover all the knives were gone. My locked chest was unlocked with the gun in it gone. I yelled for my gf but still no response . This could only mean one thing . At that moment I realized the Shadow Man took my gf. I had to get back to his layer!!

    Chapter 4

I jogged to his layer and found a note not quite discernable . I think it said come get your girlfriend or she shall die. I ran as fast as I could to his lab , she was strapped to the wall. He stared at me , with his cold fiendish eyes. I walked over to her but he threw a knife , I didnt see it coming. I fell to the ground and heard her call me name . She cried "James no! " I said "I love u." Then I blacked out.

   Chapter 5

I opened my eyes hours maybe days later strapped to a table. I screamed for my girlfriend . I thought maybe he killed her . I was weeping my face covered in tears and blood. I yelled "shadow man!" He walked into the room clapping slowly. Well well well how was your ...nap? He mumbled sarcastically. "What did you do with her!" I shouted my voice was a bit shakey. He growled, "I got rid of her ."
