I waited on the jump pad while everyone else was getting into position. Qrow was a way away from me, though I could see him next to that one guy. "Well I didnt see you yesterday." I sighed and looked to my right. It was a girl that you could tell was a body builder and carried a big hammer. She also wore heavy armor and had a helmet on that showed her face.

"You sure your not lost little girl?" She said in a snarky ass way.

"Im sorry I think I am. Could you point me in the direction where the grown ups are." I smack talked back. She then grew a very mad face and I shook my head. Just then Ozpin the asshole came out and stood in front of us.

"Now then you will all be dropped in and the first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for your time at this school. In the center of the forest are some artifacts. the two teams of partners that get the same artifacts will be made a team for their time here. Any questions?" Oz said.

"Um, yeah how are we dropping in." I heard the voice of that one guy.

"By this." Just then all of the jump pads went off. I felt the air go through my hair as I flew and for the first time, I felt free in the air. I had forgotten about my clan, my responsibilities. I felt all I had to do just leave my body as I went through the air. When I opened my eyes I flet like my body was different. I then did all I could to land near a body of water.

When I looked upon it I saw that I was a fucking bird. "Great so he wasnt laying." I said in my mind. I then tried thinking how to change back. I was mentally hitting my head, then I realized I was actually hitting my head.

"Ahh im going to beat the shit out of that man." I said to myself.

"AHH!" I jumped up and grabbed my sword and looked around. However I didnt see anyone. I then tried to think where the sound came from, but before I could I saw a flash of white come into my face.

"OMG! HOW DID YOU DO THAT? Is that your semblance? Is it hereditary?" The person then knelt down to my katana. "How long have you had this? Where did you the dust circle compature? How many-"

"SHUT UP!" I yelled at the person. "By god do you even breath." I said rubbing my forehead. "Now please remove your hood." I said to her.

"Oh, right sorry." The hood then fell and the sight before me made my heart skip a beat. It was a female with the most gorges silver eyes, Shot black hair with red tips and the best features i've ever seen. "Miss Summer Rose. Please to meet you."

"R-raven Branwen." I said to her. She then did the most adorable giggle ever and I felt my heart flutter. "I take it you saw me just a minute ago." I mentally put my foot in my mouth.

"Yes I did. Is that a normal thing?" she asked me.

"N-no its new."

"How did you get it?"

"I, umm, I'll tell you later." I said to her. Why the fuck was it hard for me to talk to her. "Lets get going shall we, partner." I said to her.

"Oh yeah we are partners now." I then laughed a little.  I then saw she was covering her face in her hands.

"You ok?" I asked her.

"Y-yes. Let go." She then grabbed my hand as dragged me on. The only thing I could think was "OMG SHE IS HOLDING MY HAND!"

Our trip was going pretty calm. No grimm our anything for the moment. Summer was right next to me and still holding my hand. I felt a smile come to my face as I thought about her still holding my hand.

"So so you have any siblings?"

"What?" I asked her.

"Brothers, sisters. You got any?" Summer asked me.

"Yeah a twin brother."

"Oh twins. So is he here?"

"Yeah he is. Somewhere around here." Just then I heard some yelling from somewhere. I ran off to it and when i came to the source I saw Qrow with a big gash on his stomach. "Qrow what happened."

"My partner is what happened." He then grabbed my arm. "Two Ursas they went after him."

"Go. I know how first aid. I can help him." Summer said as she came up to me. I nodded and went the direction Qrow pointed at. I charged through the forest and I caught sight of the Ursas. I walk up behind them and then drew my sword.

"HEY!" They then turned to me. "Hurt my brother. Now come mess with the sister." I said to them. the one to my left charged at me and as it came in close I dogged and sliced its head off. Now came the other one.

Its bone armour was still in good condition. So this was going to be a tough fight. However, ive been in this situation before. it charged at me and I jumped onto it and thrusted my sword in between its armour pieces.

It yelled in pain and got on two legs and tried to grab me. "Ok this is new." I said as I held onto my sword and dodged its swipes at me. I was stuck and didnt know what to do. I hoped that Qrows partner would come help me.

Just then I felt the Ursa tense up and then start to fall and dissolve. I fell to the ground on one knee and then looked up. I saw Summer standing there with a scythe. It was as big as her and it had a dust rotater on it.

"You ok?"

"Yeah thanks for the back up. How is my brother?' I asked as I got up and sheathed my katana.

"Stable but he needs real medical help."

"Ill go back for him and we will get the artifacts and then leave. You find that partner of his. Oh and if you can do me a favor, knock the person out for me." I said to her. I then turned around and left for Qrow.

When I got back to him, I dropped down and helped him up. "Come on brother." I said to him.

"Ahh!!"

"Quit your crying." I said to him.

"Easy for you to say." he said to me.

"I know thats why I said it." I said to him.

"Found the guy." I heard Summer's voice come up and I turned to her. However I only saw her.

"So where is he?" I asked her.

"What he was right....TAI come on out." Just then out from a tree I saw that one blond asshole. I felt my blood begin to boil. "Here he-"

"Yeah we can see him." Qrow said. I was biting my tongue to not speak.

"You ok Raven?" Summer asked me.

"Hmm hmm." I said to her while nodding a bit. I then just started to walk where we needed to go. If that man is on our team....I hope the afterlife is a great place to cowards.
