crumbled notes and bloody noses

Ian's POV
He stood there, silent. A blank stare across his face and mouth sealed shut. Did I scare him? Why is he just standing there?

"Uhhh.. Hello?"

I asked and put my hand on his shoulder, shaking him a bit. His eyes lit up, he blushed into a deep shade of red. He bit his lip, gazing right back at me. Fuck. Those deep, innocent, soft brown eyes.. My heart instantly started racing, and my stomach fluttered with butterflies. He pursed his lips and finally spoke..

"N-Nathan.. The names, Nathan.." How have a I not heard of him?

*RING RING RING*

"Fuck."I muttered under my breath. The final bell. I glanced at Nathan, as he's staring at his hands, fidgeting with fingers. I bit the insides of my cheek and he finally spoke,

"I have to go... Bye.." and rushed off to his homeroom, while dropping a piece of paper. Walking over to it, I kneel down and pick it up. His messy handwriting, I can barely make it out.

"He's such bad boy, but through those piercing eyes are the gates of Heaven. Making me melt into them.. But he doesn't know who I am.."

My heart started to race and my face started to become warm. Am I really catching feelings for this NERD? NO. I quickly crumbled the piece of paper and stuffed it in my pocket and started to walk towards my homeroom. This school sucks, it's filled with little immature kids who can't think for themselves, and that's why all the popular kids have a 2.5 GPA. I roll my eyes and walk into class. Scanning the room, my eyes meet with his.. Was he in my homeroom the whole time? He looked down and hid his face in his bag. I walked over to an empty desk in front of him.. My palms started to get sweaty as I sat down and thought to myself

"Why am I getting so nervous, he's obviously just a typical nerd-"

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud thud on the floor and voices laughing. Turning around and peering on the floor I see Nathan curled in a ball whimpering in agony. Anger flushed my face and looked up to see Jackson, the school bully.

"Yo man what the fuck!" I yelled, getting up and shoving him and he falls on a desk. He quickly got up and said

"Defending this nerd? What is he your new boyfriend?" I didn't think twice but my fist just collided with his face, he was now laying on the ground, blood dripping from his nose as he was knocked out cold. Wheres Nathan? I looked around the room and he was no where to be found..

My teacher now yelling and people snapchating him, I couldn't care less, I just want to see Nathan..

"Where are you, my love.." were the last thoughts I had before I was knocked out cold..
