Chapter 01

In a small town of Kyoto, widespread killings are believed to be vampire's doing because of the bite marks found on all the victim's bodies.

In order to hush down the town, the General confessed that he is a vampire to which the people all agreed to punish him by beheading. With the General's death was the birth of his son, Sagihara, who was named after him.

The news of the birth of the General's son quickly spread like wildfire and the townspeople, enraged by the news, rushed to the mansion to burn it down.

"We need to go now! They're coming and they have torches! " one of the trusted servants assisted the General's wife out of the mansion's secret passage.

Everyone in town believed the General's family burned to ashes together with the other vampires in hiding that night.

6 years later...

The child Sagi and his mother were staying in a secluded temple in the care of the monks. His mother never mentioned Sagi's secret but one monk knew better. Unusual growth spurt, wounds that heal quickly. The monk was certain that vampire blood was running through Sagi's veins.

"Sagi is not a normal child. I can sense the power that he has. He has the ability of a vampire yet his heart remains pure. But beware, inside him is also a demon that is ready to kill anytime."

Sagi's mother was afraid. "I don't want my son to be like his father."

"Sagi's heart needs to be pure until he reaches the age of twenty five, when he can already fully control his abilities. There is vampire monk named Roku. Find him."

They both stopped when they heard a wolf's cry.
