Jazzy anxiously ran down the street to the hospital to see her boyfriend. Makoto had been in a car crash and was injured severely.

As the Middle Schooler ran down the street and turned around the corner, she nearly bumped into several people, but she ignored it.

Finally, she arrived at the hospital and ran inside quick as lightning. Jazzy walked up to the receptionist and quickly asked, "What room is Tachibana Makoto staying in?"

The lady stared at Jazzy like she had grown two heads.

Jazzy stared back and then mentally slapped herself when she realized she was speaking English and not Japanese. "Gomen. I was speaking English. I meant to ask which room Tachibana Makoto is staying in." Jazzy spoke in Japanese this time.
The lady nodded smiling. "It's alright. Tachibana Makoto is staying in Room 315. He has three other visitors but we can allow one more."

Jazzy frowned. Other visitors? Were they his friends? The girl shook her head and quickly said thank you to the nurse before racing to the stairs, not even bothering to take the elevator.

She made it to the correct floor and went into the 300's section. She eventually found Room 315 and entered only to be greeted by three boys.

One of them had a pair of red glasses and purple eyes. He had blue hair. The boy next to him was around Jazzy's height and had yellow hair and pink eyes. The final boy had blue hair like glasses boy but he didn't have glasses or purple eyes. He had blue eyes instead.

The boys all turned at the sound of the door opening and set their gaze on Jazzy. "Who are you?" The boy with glasses asked. "I think you might have the wrong room."

"Jazzy?" A weak and frail voice suddenly whispered.

Jazzy snapped her head towards the voice recognizing it immediately. "M-Makoto? Is that you?" She said back, even though she already knew the answer.

"Yeah, it's me Jazzy." Makoto smiled at her. The girl nearly melted at the sight.

The boy with yellow hair looked at the two in confusion before asking. "Mako-chan, how do you know her? I've never seen her at school."

"That's because she doesn't go to our school Nagisa. Judging by her uniform, she goes to the Middle School." The boy with glasses said.

Jazzy ignored the two of them and walked over to Makoto. "Hey." Jazzy spoke in a soft voice. "Are you okay? I heard about the car crash from your mom."

"I'm fine Jazzy-Bear." Jazzy blushed at the nickname.

"Jazzy-Bear?" Nagisa echoed, confused.

Makoto looked at his friends. "Guys, can you step out for a second? I need to talk to Jazzy."

All three boys looked shocked but then they looked at each other and nodded. They left the room, but the boy with blue hair and blue eyes stayed a moment longer and stared at Jazzy with emotionless eyes before leaving the room. Jazzy felt a shiver go down her spine.

Makoto noticed her discomfort and smiled. "It's okay. Haru is just wondering who you are."
Jazzy nodded a bit.

She yelped as she felt the green haired boy wrap his arms around her and pulled her down to the bed. "I missed you. We haven't seen each other in weeks." Makoto murmured as he buried his face in her hair.

Jazzy froze before wrapping her arms around him too and smother her face in his neck. "Yeah. We haven't seen each other in weeks."

Makoto and Jazzy were rarely able to see each other. Due to the fact that Makoto was a High Schooler in his Third year and Jazzy was an Middle Schooler in 8th grade, the two of them couldn't see each other often.

People saw their relationship as wrong since Makoto was 17 years old and Jazzy was 13 years old. They found it disgusting because of their age difference. So the two of them kept their relationship a secret.

"I love you Jazzy." Makoto whispered to her.
Jazzy froze. "I-I-I love y-y-you t-too Makoto." She couldn't understand how easily he was able to say those words. She still had trouble saying it.

Makoto chuckled at her nervousness and pressed his lips against hers gently. Jazzy kissed back naturally and blushed.

Suddenly the the door bursted open and the two of them quickly broke apart.

"I KNEW IT!" Nagisa shouted. "Jazzy is Mako-Chan's girlfriend!"

"Nagisa shut up! You'll get us kicked out of the hospital!" Glasses boy hissed.

Makoto laughed. "Jazzy, this is Rei and Nagisa. And the boy other there is Haru!"

Haru just looked at Jazzy blankly. Jazzy shyly waved.

Rei calmed down and smiled at Jazzy. "Hello Jazzy. Nice to meet you."

"Hey Jazzy-Bear! I'm Nagisa! Are you a foreigner?"
"Yeah, I am. I was born in the United States but I grew up in Japan. I've lived hear my whole life." The African-American girl said.

"So, how long have you and Makoto been together?" Rei asked.
Jazzy blushed and looked at the green haired boy. "We've been together for since the summer." Makoto smiled sweetly at Jazzy.

"Why did you keep this from us? You could've told us Mako-Chan!" Nagisa whined.

"We...we thought you wouldn't be okay with it. Since I'm four years older then Jazzy, I thought you guys wouldn't be too happy." Makoto said, frowning.

"It's only a four year difference. Besides. If your happy, that's all that's matters, right?" Rei said, smiling gently.

"Yeah! You two look so cute together anyways! We could never break you apart!" Nagisa chirped happily.

Haru nodded. Jazzy wondered why he hadn't spoken the whole time.

"Thank you everyone." Makoto smiled warmly at everyone. Then he took Jazzy's hand and squeezed it. Jazzy blushed.

They stayed in there a couple more hours, getting to know each other, and then eventually the nurse came in, announcing that guest hours were over.

When they all started to leave the building, Jazzy waved goodbye to Nagisa and Rei, and was about to say goodbye to Haru, but then she heard a voice.

"Take care of him for me."

Jazzy jumped and looked behind her, only to see Haru looking down on her. She gapped in shock.

Haru let out a soft chuckle and raised his hand to under her chin and shut her mouth. "If you keep your mouth open like that you'll catch flies." He said, before going in the direction of his house.

Jazzy just stood there in shock before shouting at Haru, "I'll see you tomorrow Haru!"

The boy simply looked back and nodded, while smiling faintly, before he continued walking.

Jazzy smiled and watched until he was out of sight.

'Maybe Haru isn't as bad as I thought.'

Jazzy then turned around and skipped home, keen on tormenting her brother when she got back.
