Alya's POV
"What the heck are you doing you idiot?"I hissed at the shielding green boy in front of me."Well,I'm sorry,maybe I shouldn't have saved your life,"he muttered angrily back at me."It was just a trick.Your mind is as slow as you."I shot back.Really,Turte boy was a complete mystery when it came to IQ."Would you please stop that?Not everything can be solved by tricks,"he huffed."You think I don't know that?".I would've told him that before I loved saving lives,I loved lives saving me.It was always a thrill to be saved by a superhero.Not only that,but I would always study their moves.You needed brains,skill,strenght,courage and a big heart if you were going to be a superhero.But could you blame me?As much as I have all of those stuff,foxes weren't exactly made to use brawl."Uh,guys,a little help here?"Ladybug called.I sighed and went to help her.
"Pound it,"the five of us said as we did the fist pump.I loved this part;I would always be satisfied to know we got a job well done."Well,I gotta go before-"too late,I already switched back.I looked around at the gaping faces in horror."Look guys,I can explain!Really!"I said,desperately trying to find out how to explain this.Then ladybug,Chat Noir and Queen Bee grinned."No need to,this isn't the most suprising thing that happened to us,"Ladybug began."Yeah,not to mention you having a heart of gold,"Chat Noir said."Honey,you make a great superhero,Volpina or not."Queen Bee smiled.
Nino's POV
"Um-ah-uhhhh..."I said like an idiot,earning a laugh from Alya.Gosh darn it.Why does she have to be so cute?"I should get going now"I mumbled.I got out of there as quick as I can,and hid behind a tree.Thoughts and emotions swirled around my head.Alya was Volpina?The one that had teased me,taunted me and annoyed me to no end...Of all people,it had to be her?Chloe I could understand.That girl was a witch.But-
"Hey Nino,"
I almost jumped out of my sneakers.
"Oh-um-hi Alya.What are you doing here?I mean it's fine and all it's not that I want you to leave but I was just really startled and oh gosh I'm rambling aren't I I'm sorry I can't help but do this it's really-"that's when I noticed her expression.She looked embarrassed.Of course she would be embarrassed.She was supposed to be the sneakiest one in the group,and yet she was the first one who was found out.And because of something as stupid as timing.
"Hey-are you okay?"I asked.Her head shot up.
"I'm fine!Of course I'm fine!Why wouldn't I be fine?Nope,everything's completely fine!"she rambled.I smiled.It was cute when she got nervous like that."Too many fines,"I laughed.
I sat down the bench.None of us talked for a long while,until Alya asked,"Hey Nino?"
"Yeah?"I replied.
"If you were part of a group,and you all-hypothetically-had a secret you had to keep,and everyone knows you have a secret,but wouldn't find out,but then because of a stupid mistake-hypothetically because of timing-the rest of the group found out your secret?Hypothetically speaking,of course,"
I decided to drop a few hints to let her know my secret,because it's only fair.
I pretended to think at this.
"Well,hypothetically speaking,maybe you could first be careful to who you still that information out to,because you might secretly be talking to one of the group members and not know it-hypothetically.And,hypothetically,the member you're talking to might want to apologize for saying something stupid when he-or she,of course-should've been saying something nice,supportive or encouraging,if you're speaking hypothetically.And,hypothetically,if you don't want a person to be suspicious,you could make it less obvious by not using so many hypothetically.Hypothetically."
Alya's eyes went wide.
"What?!Wait-if you're a superhero,then why did you put your secret at risk-no,why would you tell a person you're a superhero?"Alya asked.I looked at her innocently.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
Alya laughed and slapped my arm gently.
"So...your Chat?"she asked me.
"Flattering,but no,"I replied.
When she realized who I was,her smile melted of her face.
"But-Turtle boy's a jerk!How could you be him?!"she exclaimed.
"Are you saying I'm a jerk?"I asked,pretending to be offended.
Alya looked crestfallen.
"Woah,it was just a joke,no need to take it seriously,"I hastily reassured.
"No, it's not that it's just-"
She didn't complete her sentence.
"Are you okay?"I asked her for the second time.
"No!Nothing's fine!The boy I like turned out to be a guy I hated for all eternity,and now I have to live with the ..."she trailed off as it dawned to her what she had said.She covered her mouth as I felt my face flush a dark scarlet.
"Uh-uh-I mean-you know what? Screw it. I'm outta here,"she said, as she left me on the bench.I didn't protest, like the total idiot I am. When she was gone, I sighed and facepalmed myself. Why am I so utterly stupid?
Narrator's POV
Alya and Nino we're distant from then on, and unfortunately, never became an item, until....
"Over here Turtle boy!"
A very cramped Volpina called. Turtle boy came, and boy oh boy did he come in for a surprise. He managed to free Volpina, but a certain akumatized victim-namely Truth, caught them. She was really only a fangirl who got angry that Volpina X Turtle boy ship wasn't sailing. Hawk Moth gave her the power to make any ship she wanted sail, and, as if it wasn't enough, she also had the power to let anyone tell the truth on whatever she asked. Why?.... I don't know, I'm an idiotic piece a shi who doesn't know what she's doing.
Anyways, Truth caught up to them, and whispered something to Turtle Boy's ear. He went pale, and opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. A concerned Ladybug found him, and ask what was wrong.
He said nothing.
One dramatic fight and a relieved superhero later, Turtle boy went to say "pound it", with the others. Instead, "Alya, "came out. Nino's brain went to panic mode as the others looked at him peculiarly.
"Uh, gotta go, bye,"and he got out quick.
Alya's curiosity got the best of her. Even if it was super awkward, she couldn't help but be intruged at what he had meant when he said her name. She found him at the basketball court. Gathering all her strenght, she walked up to him and tapped him in the shoulder, interuppting his conversation with Adrien. When he spotted her, he leaped back like she was a dangerous predator. That hurt her feelings a bit, but she put a smirk on and rolled her eyes. "Can we talk together?"she asked.
"Ye-I mean yeah?"he asked. The poor guy looked so nervous she was having second thoughts on this. Oh well. The damage had been done.
"Alone?"she asked. His face looked like he had been dipped in a bowl of tomato sauce. Adrien, on the other hand, had his face lit up.
"Sure! Anyways, I had to do something,"he said with a smirk.
Nino looked betrayed.
"S-so what did you want to talk about?"he asked.
"What did you mean when you said Alya?"she asked. It was the first time she had talked to him about being a superhero in her civilian form. His face looked panicked, then embarassed, then strangely calm.
"Can we go somewhere else?"he asked, his voice dropping to almost a whisper. Alya's face burned.
"Sure, I guess,"she said, trying to act as collected as him. Without hesitation he took her hand and led her.
His heart was beating fast, trying to convince himself that it was okay.
She likes you! He reasoned to himself.
Yeah she did! About a month ago! His infuriatingly smart logic screamed back.
He led her to the locker room, and made sure no one was there. When the coast was clear, he did the one thing he had never dreamed of doing.
He kissed her.
He didn't even plan it. Just a simple, "I love you,"and nothing else. But his body went auto pilot.
The thing he was guiltiest about? It didn't even feel wrong. He could be kissing girl who hated him and liked another person, and he did it with no shame.
I am pure evil. He thought to himself.
When they finally pulled away, Alya looked at him like he had grown three heads.
"I like you,"he admitted. "A lot."
He waited for her to slap him, or scold him, or simply leave him behind, but she did none of those. She was just looking at him with utter shock.
And then she went in for a kiss.
He had no idea how it happened. It just did.
They kept doing this until the bell rang. Alya looked up to the boy she just kissed.
"You're my super hero, and I dont want you to go anywhere,"she said smiling. Then she got her books and ran along side with Nino.
A/N
This was written before season II.I finished it when it came out, like the lazy a hole that I am. Anyways, I didn't know that it would be temporary. So please bear with my lazy butt.
