"Seulgi~ ireona, we will be having our special stage at mnet today." I just nod my head and waited for her to go.
As I heard the door close, I slowly get up from my bed to prepare. My heart skip its beat when I saw Irene unni beside my door while crossing her arms.
"Unni seriously!" I said while holding my chest. I almost thought she's a ghost!
"What's with that dark circles?" Unni pointed at my eyes.. whaat? My eyes widen and run to look myself in the mirror.
"This is horrible." I said and buried my face with my hands.
"What's up? Is something bothering you?" Irene unni approach me and shakes my shoulder.
I was going to say its nothing when I heard a knock on the door and saw the rest of the members enter my room.
Oh.. great
"Seulgi unn--" Yeri gasp. "Oh, you already know about it." And flashes an apologetic look.
"Can someone tell what's happening? " Irene unni faces them.
"Well.." Yeri give her phone to Irene unni.
This is unbelievable, I know I shouldn't be affected on this issue but its really hard. Those harsh comments keeps getting on my head. I mean... Am I that ugly?
"Aish, those fans has nothing to do with their life!" Wendy exclaim.
"Yes! they keep on targeting seulgi unni! And its just a rumor for Pete's sake!" I know Joy..
"Quiet now, we can't do nothing about it okay? Let's just move on." Irene unni tap may back. I raise my head and face them. "Seulgi, every famous, beautiful, talented, and aesthetic-like idol like you goes through this kind of situation so be strong okay?."
I hug her and whisper thank you. Those are really comforting words though I'm not really considering the compliments she said fits for me. But no matter what I'll be strong.
@MNET waiting room
We are all quietly looking at the screen as we watch the idols perform their special stage. Sometimes Wendy sing along if she knew the songs and it all caught us off guard.
"Unnis, I'm meeting my friend outside. Is it okay?" Yeri said with a blush on her face?
"Yah! We're are you going huh? I'm coming with you." Joy
"Joy unni, I won't let you. You're so noisy, you keep embarrassing me in front of my friends" Yeri said with a bored look. I suppress my laughter after hearing what she said. "And you keep stealing them" seriously this kid.
"What?! I did not!" Joy exclaim.
"As much as I want to keep teasing you, I really have to go. It'll be quick." Yeri gives us a smile
"Okay just come back early." Irene unni said and look at her suspiciously.
"Neh, thank you." Before she go out, she sticks her tongue to Joy and run.
"Really this kid! Unni your spoiling her too much!" Joy look at us and stomps her feet.
"Yes we're spoiling the both of you too much Joy." Wendy said with a bored look.
"That doesn't count!"
Me and Irene unni just chuckle at their bickering.
The room became quite when BTS sunbenim is performing. And I sing along in the chorus part. Their song is really addictive. I can sing it in different moods.
Before the performance end, Yeri already came. Not long after, we heard a knock.
"Red velvet, its you turn."
3rd person's POV
A girl approaches the boy who's waiting in the hidden part of the backstage. The boy calls her by the nickname he gave to her.
" I thought you won't come." The boy exclaim and shows a sad face. "Are you still angry with me?"
"Of course not, why would you say that?"
"You didn't reply this morning." The boy said and shows his phone to her with their conversation. "I was waiting for your reply but, you didn't."
The girl shows an apologetic look.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to."
"Is it because of the issue?" The boy look at her.
"Ani, its just me being childish." The girl sighs.
"Well, you're still a kid so--AWW!" The girl pinch his chest before he can finish his line.
"Yah, don't you dare say that I'm a kid or else your dead!" The girl shows murderous look that makes him laugh.
"Araseo, araseo! I won't" the boy continue laughing.
"Stop laughing--
The boy see the media coming their way and out of reflexes, he holds her hand and drag her behind the curtains near the backstage.
They are awkwardly close to each other.
"Yah wh---
For the second time, the boy cut her lines and place his finger to her lips.
"Keep quite, their are medias coming this way." The boy carefully keep on looking behind the curtains.
The girl shut her mouth and observe the situation.
They are uncomfortably close to each, she's facing the boy's masculine figure, his finger are still on her lips, Their hands are still in contact, his scent is dangerously enveloping her senses.
This is not right at all! The girl thought. She was going to complain when the boy started talking again.
He holds her shoulders with both hands and sigh.
"They're gone. We must be careful." The girl observe his actions.
"Wh---
"Its our turn now, I have to go." He let her go and step backward. "Thank you for coming here, I was really nervous because I keep making mistakes during our practice. Bye!" He tap her shoulders and run, leaving her dumbfounded.
This doesn't make sense!
I mean why do we keep our friendship a secret?
Why do we have to hide?
Why do we need to keep meeting each other secretly?
Why do we need to be uncomfortably close to each other.
Why of all people, it has to be me?
It doesnt make sense at all!
