Satsuki felt tender warmth on her back. She woke up in a familiar white-painted room. Her head hurts but it was nothing compared to how hurt she was the night before but it was easily forgotten because of the man sleeping soundly beside her. She faced the tanned man and touched his face. She stared at it for a long tim as if memorizing every inch of his face. The man felt her stare and groaned with disturbance in his voice but smiled.

"It's too early Satsuki!" He complained. He buried his face in Satsuki's smooth, peach hair.

"Dai-chan! Don't tell me you are planning to ditch the practice again?" She asked, pouting. 

"Don't show me that kind of facial expression Satsuki, you're turning me on again!" He replied with eyes closed.

She blushed and turned around because of embarrassment. 

"S-Stop your sweet talk Aho-mine!" She exclaimed but her face still red.

"What did you just call me?" The tanned man moved on top of her. His face only few inches away from Satsuki's.

"I said AHO-mine!" She emphasized followed by a cute giggle. Aomine returned the favor and tickled her.

"Stop it Dai-chan!" Aomine stopped while catching his breath. Their eyes locked together with few centimeters of distance. Aomine stared Satsuki with all tenderness. He's afraid of losing her, he doesn't want to be alone again, not when Satsuki made him realize how good it is to be with person who genuinely cares for you. He closed the distance between their faces and their lips met. He kissed her slowly and passionately.

"Dai-chan . ." She whispered between the kisses. Satsuki can feel his sincerity through his passionate kisses. If it wasn't for him, maybe she's not around with the basketball team as their manager anymore. 

Flashback

"Dai-chan! Wait!" Called the exhausted Satsuki as she tries to catch up with Aomine. He's not  his usual self that night. 

"I said wait!" 

At last, Aomine paused and faced her. "What do you want Satsuki? If it has nothing to do with the next match, I don't wanna see your ugly face ever again!" He yelled.

The statement stunned Satsuki. Ever since their childhood, her dear Dai-chan never yelled at her. He was always there to defend her from the bullies and she thought Aomine is the only one who can be trusted, she believed that he will always protect her in spite of his moody personality.

Tears fell from Satsuki's eyes. 

Dumbfounded, Aomine can't find the words to comfort his dearest friend for he's also shocked with the words that came out from his mouth. He didn't mean to say that. He never wanted to hurt her feelings but his anger won against his self-control.

"I quit!" Satsuki stated like a whisper and left.

Aomine was left there, standing under the pouring rain with no idea on how to approach Satsuki.

When reality hit him, Aomine searched for Satsuki the whole night. He even asked Tetsu if he knew where Satsuki went but unfortunately Tetsu doesn't have any idea. He went home frustrated and guilty. He wanted to apologize to her and tell her he didn't mean any of what he said but the only thing is he can't find her anywhere.
