Chapter Eleven: The Titanic Made Me Cry.

      I grabbed Selena's hand and pulled her towards the living room. As we reached, everyone's eyes were on us. "I didn't get to properly introduce you to her. Guys, this is Selena. She's my girlfriend." I said.
      Alain walked up to her and shook her hand. "Hi! It's nice to meet you. I'm Alain! Marin's best friend!"he exclaimed. Selena shook his hand, smiling.
     "It's good to know that he has someone when I leave."she said. I frowned.
     "What do you mean it's good? I'll be heartbroken."I said.
     "You'll be fine. Besides...I'll be back."she said.
     "Yeah...but...I can't wait that long Selena."I whispered into her ear.
     "I know."she whispered. "But I'll still love you."and she kissed my cheek.
     "Hey you two! Save the lovely dovey stuff for when we're like, not here."said Alain.
     "Hahaha...yeah okay. Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go watch a sinking ship."I said, and we all poured out of the living room, and into the the van, heading to the cinema.
      Alain sat in the front, Ririna along side him. Scarlett, Alex, Rose in the second row. Nathalie, Nina and Adrienne sat in the last row, while Selena and I shared a single seat. But...she kept on complaining.
      "Marin, why do you have such broad shoulders?"she asked, in a half yell half whisper.
   .    "Hey Love birds! Can you keep it down!? I'm trying not to puke and drive!"shouted Alain from the front seat. Selena and I looked at each other and laughed.
      After a couple of minutes of driving, we finally reached the cinema. I got out of the van and knelt on the ground. "LAND! SWEET SOLID LAND!!!"I screamed. People passing by watched me and snickered. Some even gave me a thumbs up.
       Everyone got out of the van, and walked over to me. Alain groaned. "Marin! Shut up! You're embarrassing us!"he shouted. I simply smiled and nodded. I got up from the ground and dusted off my clothes. "So...who's going for tickets?...   ....   ..... NOT IT!"
      "NOT IT!"Everyone shouted...except for...Selena.
She frowned. She gave me the puppy dog look. I frowned. But it quickly changed into a grin.
       "Nope. Not this time. Go on now."I snickered, pointing to the ticket booth. She pouted before she walked over to the ticket booth. After a few minutes of waiting, Selena was finally about to purchase our tickets, until someone stopped her.
       He had blonde hair, black slender eyes and a built body. "Uh oh! Looks like someone's flirting with your girlfriend dude!"said Alain.
       I gritted my teeth, silently cursing under my breath. Selena purchased the tickets and walked over to us. But the blonde wasn't behind her. "Hey! I got the tickets!"she said, excitedly.
      "Great..."I muttered.
      "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's g-"whatever Alain was about to say, he was cut off. By the blondie.
      "Hey Selena! You going to watch Titanic too? Why don't you come join me? My sister is going with her friends...so I'll be pretty lonely. We can spend that time rebuilding our relationship. What do yah say!?"he said, before realizing the group of people behind her.
      His head swayed from left to right, observing the group. He took Alain's hand and shook it. "Hey! I'm Nelson!"he said.
     "Cool...nice to meet you? I'm...Alain."he said. Nelson let go of Alain's hand and walked over to the girls.
     "My! What a bevy of beauties!"he exclaimed. Then he moved to Selena. He took her hand and kissed it. "It's always a pleasure. Hopefully our relationship can mend, so we can get back together." Selena pulled back her hand and rubbed it.
       "Yeah well...I don't know about that."she said. He only smirked.
       "We'll see." And finally, he moved on to me. I flashed him my heart warming smile, before I changed it into a smirk. "Hey! How you doing? I'm Selena's Ex. Soon to be boyfriend." He said as he gripped my hand.
       "Heh. Hey! I'm Marin! Selena's boyfriend!" I said, as I gripped back his hand. His face paled. He quickly let go of my hand and backed away. His smile was crooked.
       "O-oh! Hehe... awkward. Um...well nice to meet you and sorry. P-please don't kill me!"he screamed.
       "Dude relax. I'm not that mad. You're free to go. I won't do anything to you."i reasurred him.
And with that, he said his goodbyes and left. Selena walked up beside me and grabbed my hand. She rested her head onto my shoulder.
       "You know...never thought I'd see him in Paris. But...I've never met anyone else like you. You're just simply the most perfect guy."she said.
       "And you're like no other girl I've met."I replied. With our arms linked, we walked into the cinema and went to buy our food, with our friends behind us. As we bought our food, we walked to the room where the movie would be showing.
       As Selena sat in a corner, the others came and sat beside us. Selena gave me a look. We got up and went to the other corner. "Guys...I'm sorry, but I'm gonna go sit over there with Selena."I apologized.
       "It's alright man. No probs! We'll see yah later."said Alain. And...we went to the other corner and sat together. Shortly after, the entire room was packed. Selena and I spotted an elderly woman, trying to find a seat. I got up from my seat and walked towards the elderly lady.
        
Adrienne's POV
       "Hey Adrienne! Pass me the nachos!"Nina said. She must have noticed that I was looking a bit sad. "Hey...you okay?"
       "Yeah...but I feel as though Selena doesn't want Marin to spend any time with us."I said.
       "What, jealous?" She asked.
       "What, no. Why would I be?"I asked.
       "I....hm. I don't know."Nina said.
       "Then why did you ask? Don't tell me you still like him."i wondered.
       "No. I moved on to, um...better things?" She said, uncertain.
       "What kind of better things?"I teased.
       "Look. It's Marin."Alain interrupted. Marin was talking to an elderly lady. He took her hand and carried her to the top of the stairs. We all watched in silence as Selena got up from her seat, and the lady sat in her place. Selena sat in Marin's seat will Marin sat on the floor.
         A girl walked up to them with a paper. We could hear them from quite down there.
      "Selena can I have your autograph?"the girl asked.
      "Oh course."responded Selena.
     "And...if it's not too much to ask. Can you and your boyfriend let me take a picture with you?"she continued. 
     "Umm...."said Marin.
     "Of course. Right Marin?"
     "Um. Yeah. Okay"and they took the picture.

Marin's POV
      After we took the picture, we continued onward with the movie. It was so heart breaking. I couldn't help but cry. As soon as the movie ended, we all met up at the cafe. "Wow...that was really boring!"yawned Alain.
     "Don't-"
     "Don't talk like that. That was the most heart breaking thing I'd ever seen."I said. They looked at Selena.
     "He cried throughout the entire movie. But you know what, that's what I like the most about him."she said, as she kissed my cheek.
     "Hehe...I think it's about time we went home. I'll see you guys later. Come on Selena. We have to go do that thing you were talking about earlier."I said.
     "That thing? Oh...that thing."she said. "It was nice meeting you guys. I hope to meet you again, soon." Honestly, there wasn't a 'thing' to do besides sleep. And so, we walked home, arms entwined with each other's.
