Chapter Twenty-four:The secert is out

    Today is Sarah's surgery. She wakes up at 6:00am feeling nervous. At home Veronica gets up and takes a shower. When she gets out of the shower, she gets dress. After getting dress she goes into Bryanna room to wake her up. She gets Bryanna dress then goes to wake up Anna and Emma. Veronica puts Bryanna on Anna and Bryanna starts to play with Anna blanket. That wakes Anna up. "Bri stop it" Anna tells Bryanna. "Sas" Bryanna says in her little baby voice. "Your cute" Anna says to Bryanna and the gets out of bed. "EMMA" Anna yells. Emma picks her head up and looks down at Anna. "I'm up" Emma says as she moves her blanket and climbs down the ladder. "Girls get dress" Veronica tells them and picks up Bryanna. They leave to room to go make breakfast as Anna and Emma get dress. Soon they come down to eat and to have Veronica do their hair. The girls all sit and eat, as Veronica does Anna hair. When she finishes Anna hair, she does Emma hair. Veronica finish the girls hair and they finish eating. "Put your dishes in the sink and then get your shoes on" Veronica tells them as she puts Bryanna shoes on her. "Ok mommy" Emma said putting her bowl in the sink. Anna does the same thing and then goes to the living room to put her shoes on. Emma puts her shoes on as well and when there both finish, they sit on the couch and wait. As they sit and wait Veronica comes into the living room with Bryanna. "Are you ready?" She ask them. They both nod yes and race to the car. This time Anna wins. They all get in and Veronica drives to the hospital.

     When they reach the hospital they go to the nurses station. "Can you tell me what room Sarah Rinkevich is in?" Veronica ask the nurse. "She's in room 555 on the 5th floor, but she's already in surgery" the nurse answers. "She wasn't suppose to go in for surgery until 10:00am"
"I'll ask Dr. Rinkevich why the surgery was push"
"Thank you, come on girls let's go sit in the waiting area"
Veronica waits with the girls, but feels very stress and nervous. When surgeries are push that usually means something bad. "Mommy, why can't we see mommy?" Anna ask sounding very worried. "You'll see mommy soon" Veronica tells her even though she doesn't know if that's true. Hours pass and there handing been a update yet. "Mommy I want to see mommy" Emma Dad as tears start to form. "Don't cry Emma, you'll see mommy soon" Veronica puts her arm around Emma and holds her close. They wait and wait for hours. At 5:30pm Erick comes out and walks over to Veronica and the girls. "What the hell took so long and why was the surgery push ahead?" Veronica ask as Erick sits down. "Can I talk to you alone?"
"Sure, girls stay here, Anna hold Bryanna." They walk to a corner in the waiting room to talk. "The surgery was push because Sarah had a brain bleed, I got it under control"
"Is she alive?"
"The surgery was a success, I got the tumor and she is asking for you"
Veronica hugs Erick and gets the girls. Then they all follow Erick to Sarah.

   They walk into the Nero surgery ICU where Sarah is. They go to her room to find her starring at the ceiling. "Sarah?" Veronica says walking in with the girls following behind her. She looks at them and smiles. "Hi" she whispers. "Mommy!!" Anna and Emma yell and run over to her bedside. "My girls I love you both so much"
"We love you to mommy" Anna said. They hug and Sarah looks at Erick. "I'll just be going" he says and walks out. "Can you hand me Bryanna?" Sarah ask Veronica. She walks over to her bed and puts little Bryanna on her lap. "Do you want me to call your dad?" Veronica ask. Sarah looks at her and nods yes. Veronica goes out to the hall and calls Bryan. As she does that Sarah talks with the girls about random little things. "Mommy can I ask something without you getting mad?" Anna ask. "Of course"
"Why don't we have a daddy and did I come out your belly or mommy 1 belly?"
Sarah is shocked by the question and doesn't know if she should answer. Her and Veronica wanted to wait until Anna was ten to tell her she's adopted. They look at each other and then Veronica walks in. "Your dad's on your way" she says. "Veronica you know that talk we had when Anna was born about you know what" Sarah says.
"Yes..."
"She kinda asked about it and I think it's time the secret comes out"
Veronica is speechless, but nods her head yes. Sarah takes a deep breath and Anna gets ready to listen, so does Emma. "Anna you where adopted just like Emma was"
"I was, but I look just like you"
"You were"
"What's my birth mommy and daddy names?"
"Jessica Reed and Robert Daniels"
"What's my story?"
"That you'll know when your a little older"
"Ok"
That was the end of that Conversation. When Anna turns ten or maybe when she ask again, she'll find out why she was adopted.

A little later in the day, Bryan shows up. When he shows up, he's caring a one year old boy. "Dad whose kid is that?" Sarah ask as Bryan walks into the room. "This is Kenny, Morgan son"
Sarah and Veronica eyes light up. Their both really confused. "Why do you have him were is Morgan?" Veronica ask. "She came to my house with him, she told me she went to Boston to find his father, I'll tell you the whole story when Erick gets here" Bryan said sitting down next to Anna. Anna moves away from him and sits on the bed with Sarah. Soon Erick gets off work and comes down to see Sarah. "Dad whose kid is that?" Erick ask. "Morgan son"
"What?"
"I'll tell you when Cheyenna shows up"
They wait for Cheyenna and in a hour she walks in. Cheyenne sits down and gets comfortable next to Erick. Bryan takes a deep breath and gets ready to speak. They all wait patiently.

BRYAN STORY!!
I was just minding my own business when the phone rings. Of course I answered it only to find out my fourth child is in the hospital. Thanks for telling me by the way. Anyway that's not the point of the story. After talking to Veronica I hung up the phone and was going to sit down, but then the door bell rang. I looked though the window before answering. Once I saw it was Morgan I let her in. She had Kenny and a suitcase. I didn't ask why she had a suitcase. I told her to sit down and we started to talk. "Why are you here and where have you been?" I ask. "I've been in Boston looking for Kenny Dad and I'm here to come back" she answered. I looked at her for awhile and we just talked about little things. After awhile of talking, I had to go to the bathroom. I left the room to pee and when I came back she was gone. Kenny was just on the floor crying and the front door was wide open. I picked him up and looked outside, she she was really gone. Morgan abandon her son and left him with me. I don't know what to do now. This poor boy had just been abandon. It's like you three is story, but with one.

Bryan story over, back to reality!!
Everyone sits there shocked as Bryan takes a breath. "You need or should go for custody" Sarah speaks first. "I agree with Sarah" Erick says. Bryan looks at them as he thinks about what to do. "I know it's a big thing to take on, but your his grandfather and should" Cheyenna says as she pushes some hair out of her face. "You three are right and I'll fine for custody as soon as I can" Bryan agrees with them. Now that that's settle it's time for everyone to go home.Cheyenna, Bryan, and Kenny leave after the talk. They give Sarah, Veronica, Anna, Emma, Bryanna, and Erick hugs before going. "I have to get home to Julie and the kids oh Sarah I forgot to tell you, your discharge tomorrow at 6:10" Erick tells her as he puts his coat on. "Ok, love you see you tomorrow" Sarah replies. Erick gives her, Veronica, and the girls hugs and leaves. Soon after he left, Veronica and the girls go home to. Leaving Sarah to the pure sound of quiet and lonely ness.

     A week has gone by since the surgery, Anna finding out she's adopted, and the Kenny thing.  In that week Bryan has filed for custody of Kenny, Anna is asking about her birth parents, and Sarah has beaten cancer according to her doctors. Sarah and Veronica are answering Anna questions the best they can, but they don't know much about Anna father. It makes some of the questions hard to answers. Bryan isn't getting anywhere with Kenny. He needs Morgan and the unknown father to sign papers. He has found Morgan, but she refuses to sign off her rights. Instead of Morgan signing her rights off, she made a deal with Bryan. Bryan will raise Kenny, but Morgan gets to see him whenever she wants. The only condition is she has to tell Bryan first. Things are going good so far. Let's hope that noting comes up as they all age.

A/N: I know the ending of this chapter kinda sucks, but I had to put it this way. I didn't want to make the last paragraph long or detailed because of the next chapter. The next chapter is the last chapter of this book. That chapter doesn't pick up where this one ends. That's all the details your all getting about the last ): chapter. Sorry about the semi sucky ending.
