Flowerfell
"Mary Contrary, how does your garden grow?"
Your shining yellow blossoms in full bloom.
Come with me, the seventh maid in a row,
I'll take with me, the magic you consume.
An amber light glowed from your heart of gold,
Taking my hand, you said "Always be kind".
You taught a beast to love, my heart so cold,
Weaved from stems of jade, forever entwined.
Though, every flower will one day wilt,
Setting us free from the petals you shed.
I lay, your final words flood me in guilt,
"I'm sorry, this flower's already dead."
I slept, and if I die before I wake,
I'll stay, and wait for you, my soul to take.
