In my school, and I'm sure a lot of other schools, teachers, and school police officers teach us about strangers. They say: Don't go with strangers, don't talk to them, or give them your information. Especially online! Don't say your real name, age, phone number, address,or where you go to school. But they never tell us about what could happen with people we do know. People we love, and trust. People we'd never in a million years guess that they were psychotic. Almost half of known kidnappings happen with your average neighborhood guy that everyone knows and sees at the cafe. He is most likely just a random Joe that you'd never think would try to harm anyone, but in reality... They'd turn full on murderer if they could get close enough. If they could earn your trust and your love.
Honestly, you just have to be cautious and know your surroundings. Pay attention to the little things. Like, if a guy pays just a little to much attention to a younger person, or if your neighborhood Joe is giving away free ice cream but tells all the kids to eat it in his house so it doesn't spill. Because his house would be any better than outside?
I don't really know many people that would try to stalk someone or kidnap them but, like that 'friendly' guy in black with a smile on his face? Oh, ol' Slim And Shady
(Eminem reference😜)
At first he didn't seem to be so bad but look where he ended up! Yeah, ol' Slim And Shady. Bad dude. We won't see him much... hopefully!
