I sat on the dock and and just watched the waves go by. My father was out buying a new supply of rum and some vegetables. I decided to go and rome the shops of town. Snarts is the only place that accepts pirates. When I was walking down the street a man was walking towards me. He was somewhat short but very muscular. While I was studying him he came and grabbed me. I kicked him and punched him as hard as I could but I knew that I would not be able to fight him off. He haled me off to a ship. At first I didn't recognize the ship but then I saw the symbol on the Side a quail. A quail was the symbol of Nightengal the oral navy head quarters. He took me on board. Where the head captain was waiting with a smile on his face. "So they were right you are the most beautiful girl to set sail on the 11 seas."
His smile increased and he took a step toward me. I still haven't given up on fighting my attacker but was still failing. The captain held my chin with his thumb and pointer finger. "You are quite feisty. Through her in her new quarters below."
The man picked me up and carried me down below deck. He shoved me into the cell and slammed the door shut. Then he just smiled and said "Enjoy you new life Pirate."
And then he just walked out without a single glance. I could hear him laughing quietly as he lightly shut the door behind him.
I was surprised at the cell. In the cell they had put a bed with silk sheets and a feathery pillow, it also had a new dress that I knew they would want me to put on. The cell also had a few books and a big plater of fruit. Just like Nightengal, feed the rich and wealthy while the others suffer. I started out not wanting to do anything I couldn't think of any reason they'd want to capture me. But after a while I got board and I wasn't going to let the food go to waste even if the other people suffer. I picked up a book with the title THE GREATNESS OF DAMON THE SOON TO BE KING I sat on the bed and shoved some of the fruit into my bag and one of the silk sheets. Later the same brutal man came down the steps and told me to put the new dress and that the captain himself was going to escort me to the eating quarters. When he was gone I threw the dress out the open window and let it sleep with the fishes. Shortly after a new boy came down he gave me a half smile and said "The captain isn't going to be happy about you not havering your new dress on." He said almost laughing. "Well now it's sleeping with the finishes so if the captain wants me to wear it he can dive for. But he better be careful I think there may be some angry sharks down there." I said with a sarcastic smile.
He laughed a little. In a way he was very likable just in a annoying kind of way. He didn't grab me or touch me he just walk behind me and guided me in the right direction if I made a wrong turn or something when we arrived the captain was sitting at the end of the table and when he looked up at me his devious smile turned to shock and confusion. I smiled at his Chang of moods. He stood up and walked towards me and as the crew noticed the room fell silent. Then he spoke "we'll not only is she fierce but she is also defiant. Where be your lovely dress. You know the one with all the pink on it." He said through his rotted teeth.
"Well you know pink really isn't my color. But I do know where it is if you need it back." I said sarcastically.
"And that would young lady?"
"Oh just hold your breath for about 16 minuets and you'll find it."
"No worries I'm sure there are plenty more dress at the castle for you to ruin."
"Please come join us for dinner." He said gesturing to the table filled to the edge with food from all around the world. "Well if I say no one of you men will just make me so sure."
I sat down at the table next to the boy who had gently guided me down from my cell. He smiled at me and I turned towered him as the room filled up once again with noise. "Why are you being so nice to me. When everyone else treats me like I'm something they found in there ears." I said truly not knowing what his answer would be.
"Well for one thing most of us have no clue why your even on here because we were just ordered to find some vegetables for Nightengal. Seconded you may be a pirate but your still a person." He whispered it in my ear so soft it could have melted a glacier.
He got up, put his plate on top of the already huge stack of plate, smiled at me and then disappeared through the door. I wasn't in the mood to eat any more so I slipped a fork into my jacket and got up quietly. I was only wearing my ratty old shirt and my black pants with my jacket. When I went back to my cell I changed into my black shirt with my leather jacket (black leather because I do in fact love animals) with my tight leather pants and my short legged black boots. Then the man that had thrown me in her came down and locked the cell without a word.
When night fell I took the fork out of my old jacket I bent it till two of prongs came off. Then I slipped them into the lock turned them around a little and then I heard the lock go pop and the fall to the floor. I opened the cell door and slipped out onto the first deck. I looked out over the ocean watching the clouds move and listening to the sound of the ocean as the waves tumbled over each other. Then I felt a hand fall on my shoulder. I turned around quick as lighting only to find the boy that I had sat with me earlier that night and guided me out of my cell. I calmed down and he smiled at me and said "how on earth did you get out of your cell?"
"It's not that hard. The lock was rusted any way so I could have hit with a rock and it would have fell to the floor faster. But I picked the lock with fork prongs. None of the men even noticed I took them." I said smiling
"So does this mean you have to take me back to my cell?"
"No. If you picked the lock once you'll do it again so might as well save some time. I hope you don't mind if I stay here with you though?"
"Might as well. So since your out here may I know your name or is that just supposed to stay a secret?" I said smiling now and letting down my guard a little bit.
"My name is Silvan. So since you know my name may I know yours?"
"My name is Flame."
We at the front of the ship now and I took a seat on one of the chairs that was used to play poker in. "I hope you don't mind me asked but how did a pirate end up on a royal ship?" He said smiling.
"I have no clue. All I know is that one minute I'm walking down the street looking at shops the next I'm kidnapped by a Nightengal ship at being shipped of to who knows where."
He looked shocked as if he wasn't expecting that answer. We spent the night talking and when morning had come we had landed in Nightengal. Silvan wished me good luck and said fair well as I was dragged once again to who knows where.
