Hoseok saw Jungkook everyday.

They were childhood friends, and nothing could tear them apart.

But as Hoseok grew older, his parents started treating Jungkook badly. Saying that Jungkook can't eat dinner, that they can't sleep together.

Sometimes the parents would just straight out ignore Jungkook.

Hoseok hated his parents for doing this to them, he loved Jungkook, and couldn't do anything without him.

Hoseok shut his parents out, and only talked to Jungkook. Every night, they would whisper and giggle together.

These were the happiest moments of Hoseok's life.

As both grew older, the parents started begging Hoseok to stop being with Jungkook.

'What's so bad about being with Jungkook?' Hoseok wondered every day.

He confronted Jungkook, and asked why his parents didn't like Jungkook.

But Jungkook didn't know the answer, why didn't the parents like him?

And since that night, Hoseok started getting nightmares.

Nightmares of monsters, throughout the night, Hoseok would hyperventilate. Jungkook would try to calm Hoseok down, but he just couldn't.

Hoseok would cry, he couldn't tell the difference between fantasy and reality. Stressed, and anxious, the only answer he could find was to not sleep.

And he kept by his goal. He didn't sleep.

At all.

Finally Jungkook said something, "Hoseok hyung, I think you need to get help. You look so tired. And, I'm scared for you. Please, talk to your parents.

I know you don't like them, but, they could call for a doctor, I don't know, I just can't see you like this anymore."

And Hoseok understood. Because he couldn't even remember the last time he slept a good 8 hours, he decided to talk to the demons.

And the parents got a psychiatrist.

He was diagnosed with medication to help the sleeping paralysis, the hallucinations, anything that could get him through the night.

And that night, he slept like a baby.

But that same night, Jungkook disappeared...... just like all his other hallucinations.
