"ARE YOU SURE THIS IS LEGAL, HOLDEN?"

Willow knew for a fact that it wasn't legal. Opening the door to an abandoned hospital and ducking under police tape wasn't exactly encouraged. Telling her twin brother that was like trying to teach a fish to climb a tree. The two were identical. Except Willow was a rule follower and Holden, however, he was the mischievous one.

In front of her, she saw Holden's camera flash as he held it up steadily. "Of course! We didn't break anything while entering." Holden reasoned as he avoided the debris that scattered the floor.

"Yeah, I mean you're right. It was unlocked! And that police tape was only halfway up." Willow said with sarcasm lacing her words. Holden turned back to his sister rolling his eyes then snapping a picture of Willow before she could protest. He released his camera from his grip allowing the strap to catch it from falling to the floor.

"Come on Willow! Are you not having fun? I thought you enjoyed exploring." Holden said reminding Willow of what she said just a few days ago. Willow did enjoy exploring, but she didn't enjoy fearing that she was inhaling toxic mold or that the ceiling was going to fall in on the two of them.

"Of course I enjoy exploring, brother," Willow replied. "But I don't enjoy fearing for my life."

Holden snorted, turning around searching the rooms once again. "We're not going to die Willow. Sure this place is falling apart. But nobody has died in here yet." Holden assured his sister. Willow felt her lips curling up uncontrollably.

"Actually, lots of people died in here Holden. In the 1900s, this place was a hospital. People die in hospitals." Willow corrected her brother smirking. Holden groaned stepping aside in a room.

"Are you going to keep arguing with me or are you gonna drape this sheet over your head so I can take a picture?" Holden asked as he pulled a dirty sheet from an open cabinet. Willow wrinkled her nose at the sheet.

"You're kidding, right? I can't put this sheet over my head. God only knows what's growing on it!" Willow complained. Holden held up a finger, then pulled his backpack off searching through it. Finally, he pulled out a mask that was left over from when their father was painting the walls in the bathroom.

"Fine." Willow decided, snatching the mask from her brother. She pulled it over her mouth and nose defeated. Holden quickly draped the sheet over her and started instructing her.

"Ok, I've never actually done this before. But when I tell you to, I want you to walk with your arms out. Connect with your spooky side." Holden explained. Willow snorted and stood against the wall.

"Spooky side?" She questioned smiling under the mask.

"Go!" Holden shouted. Willow rolled her eyes, walking with her arms out like a ghost. It sounded crazy, but her brother's weird ideas always turned into perfect pictures.

The flash blinded Willow, and she allowed the palms of her hands smack against the wall. She quickly pushed the sheet off her head and pulled the mask off messing up her dark hair in the process.

"I did it! Look at this Willow! I finally did something cool." Holden happily said as she showed her the image on the small screen. Willow had to admit that it was somewhat cool. Her body was blurred, but the focus on the objects around her was focused perfectly.

"Ok, that's pretty damn cool," Willow said with a big grin. Holden smiled happily, still staring at the picture with those green eyes that matched Willows.

"Ok brother. Since you're becoming a professional at this, you can at least take a few good ones of me for my profile picture." Willow said leading her brother back into the halls. Holden was smiling like a fool, still on appreciating his improvements.

"Ok, stand against that wall," Holden ordered, setting the flashlight on an old gurney for lighting. Willow did as she was told, and leaned against the wall that had chipping wallpaper. She combed her hair with her fingers.

Holden adjusted the settings on his camera and then glanced up at his sister. "Willow, loosen up. You look like you're posing for the picture." Holden scolded. Willows eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

"Isn't that what I'm supposed to do? I mean, pose?" Willow questioned. Holden shook his head, dropping his camera.

"Good photography isn't meant to look planned," Holden explained, rubbing his hands together for warmth.

"But it is planned," Willow replied grinning. Holden rolled his bloodshot eyes and stepped forward grabbing her shoulders moving her.

"Ok, now look that way with your hand resting on the wall," Holden said stepping back. Willow did as she was told and posed allowing herself to loosen up.

"Pretend you're acting in a horror movie, like you're searching the halls for some serial killer." Holden said picking his camera up. Willow took his advice, and she pretended she was an actor.

Willow heard the shutter on his camera and waited for him to tell her she was good to move. "Ok, let's go take a few more. I don't know about you, but I'm getting hungry." Holden said rubbing his stomach.

Willow nodded happily, finally feeling at ease. The two siblings walked the halls in full conversation when they heard something fall over. Their smiles disappeared, and the two shared a look. In sync, the two took off running.

Willow stayed close to her brother as they ran trying to escape whatever had made the noise. However, the longer they ran, the further behind that Willow got. Her brother was the more athletic one, and unfortunately for her, she was the clumsy one.

"Holden! Slow down!" Willow demanded. Her brother stopped at the stairs turning around waiting for her. She slowed down to a jog panting heavily.

"Watch out for that puddle!" Holden called out. Willow didn't hear though; she wasn't able to hear over her feet slapping against the damp pavement.

"What?" She asked slowing down even more. Before her twin could warn her again, her foot had already splashed in the murky puddle. She felt the cold water seep through her shoes. Before Willow could complain, she felt electrical currents flowing throughout her body.
