Gumball smiled as you guys sat on the couch at his house, ignoring the fact that his parents kept going in and out the house for absourd reasons,getting a penny from the car or how meny grass petals are outside, "how's things going with you and penny" you asked
"We broke up" he said just as you were about to say something Nicole called you guys into the kitchen to eat dinner.
"Oh y/n gumball has been a little sad lately after she broke up with him so can you please try to keep his mind off of it"Nicole said pulling you to the side
"I'll try my best Mrs W" you said sitting in the middle of gumball and Darwin.
*time skip*
The car drive home felt like eternity as every single tree bounced around as the car pulled into the driveway you noticed at penny's house that she was glaring at you (you and penny are naighboors) you gulbed and ran inside and into your room
"What the heck was that about" you asked yourself but calming down a bit as you peeked out of your window
"Does she think im dating gumball" I thought to myself "she broke up with him right"
*time skip*
You woke up and got ready just in time to catch the bus and not having to wait for it. Bit just as your luck ran out penny sat next to you on the bus
"Shit"you thought to yourself so badly now wanting to sit with someone else hell even joe.
"Yah know"penny began talking "I thought you and gumball were going out now" she laughed "until I realised he would never go out with you, your so ugly even for him"

"Anyhow don't try to steal him yes we broke up but if o say were back on he'll be crawling to me like a dog, well cat" she said getting up and sitting next to her friends as gumball and Darwin got on the bus sitting next to you
"Hey y/n" gumball said "so what do you guys wanna do after school"
"How about we go to joyful burger or a movie" Darwin said
"Thanks guys but I'll pass" you said
"What's wrong y/n"Darwin asked
"Yeah you never pass on getting your favorite food" gumball said
"I just want to go home and catch up on sleep"you said faking a yawn. Obviously gumball didnt fall for it but knew he wasn't gonna get anymore out of it
*at school*
You went to your locker and got the lock looking fof what you needed. Until you heard a hand slam on the locker next to you expecting Tobias you turned your head to see penny. You gripped the locker lock in your hand as penny kept trying to put you down. Each word stabbed you you were gonna tell her something, until she noticed principal brown and walked away. You sighed into the air as you closed your eyes and let a single tear escape. You quickly grabbed your bag and left to the class trying not to run into her or her group of friends. You soon enough made it to class were you sat next to gumball
"I should tell him" you thought quickly putting the idea down
*after school*
Gumball and Darwin both convinced you to go to joyful burger going back to the plans. You didnt want to go but did because you wanted to throw them off your trail. You ate your food and kept quiet. Darwin went to the bathroom as gumball soon after you went outside to go to the movie rental and get a movie you guys could watch it later.when you walked out you tripped getting up to see penny
"What did I tell you" she said grabbing your shirt pulling you face to face with you
"Nothing just to not steal gumball" you said
"And what are you doing"
"Getting a movie"you responded
"Dont play dumb with me I saw you eat with gumball and Darwin"she said raising a fist
"Penny what are you doing"gumball said pushing her off you. You got up and fell back down do to the cut on your knees
"Are you alright"gumball asked hugging you
"Yes im fine" you inbrassed his hug and glanced at penny who stormed off
"I been meaning to ask you this,would you by any chance want to go to the movies with me on satuday not as a date or it could be if you want to" gumball blushed
"As a date would be nice" you kissed him
