We called an Uber and headed over to Adym's house. They hadn't even been told that he was back but then again nobody was told.

It took about 10 minutes to get there and then we arrived. We walked up the stairs to the house and then Adym knocked on the door. We waited about 30 seconds until his mom yelled "Coming!" and then came and opened the door.

She looked stunned and I wasn't surprised. Before she said anything she pulled him in for a hug and sucked the life out of him.

"I thought you were gone..I thought you-" She paused and started crying.

"Millie who is it?" His dad said walking to the door and not looking up from his newspaper.

"Honey look." She said.

He looked up and stopped everything for a second. "God where the hell were you." He asked while hugging him. Then they both saw all of his bruises and scars and they asked at the same time ,

"What happened?" They both said.

"I'm going to tell you. Let's sit down." He said. His grip tightening around my hand.

"It'll be okay." I whispered while walking into their living room/den so only Adym could hear. A cute smile came upon his face.

They called up to all of Adym's siblings and they all came rushing down. They all hugged Adym and said words I couldn't hear. We all sat down, me next to Adym, His parents on the opposite love seat, and Maddie and his other siblings scattered around any open space they could find.

We all stared at him and he got nervous.

"Stop staring just listen." He said while adding a sigh at the end.

We all mumbled "Sorry."

"Okay." He sighed. "So i guess I'll start with how they got me..." He took a long pause trying to find the write words to say. "I was walking home and I had my earphones in...but I made sure to not have the volume up where I couldn't hear. I was walking for at least 10 minutes before...before it happened." I could hear it in his voice he didn't want to talk about it but he knew he had too. I wrapped my arm around his and held onto him. "I guess I felt someone watching me so I kept on turning to look behind me..but I didn't think twice about it. I'm such an idiot, Jesus Christ. " he said while putting his head in his hand and resting his arm on his leg. Then he looked back up at his parents then over to me. "Nothing really unusual was happening. So I guess I just kept on walking. Then two men in black suits and dark sunglasses began walking behind me from out of nowhere. That's when I saw the black Suburban..and that's when I knew something bad was happening. So I began running.. as fast as I could. I looked back and they were running after me a-and the car was speeding up..." He paused.

"...and well as you know..I'm not a star athlete. I ran and I ran until I couldn't..until I couldn't breathe."

He closed his eyes and tilted his head up to the ceiling. "Oh my gosh." He whispered to himself. I ran my hand up and down his back to try and calm him down.

"They must of hit me with something...I blacked out and then I woke up chained to a wall not knowing where I was.
It looked like some kind of warehouse. There were no windows anywhere. Only a light at the opposite of the room. The walls were painted black making it hard to see. " He paused to breathe. "I tried...so...so hard to get out of those chains. I just wasn't strong enough.

Maddie took a big long sigh. "Who were they?"

"I tried to figure that out. He said looking at her. "They never took off their sunglasses so it was hard to fully see there faces. And they never said anything about who they worked for or who they were from. So I never figured it out. " He said looking down and fidgeting with his fingers. "I was there for what seemed like months. They left And they came back. But there was always this one girl without glasses and wearing a red dress watching me. She never said anything...until I cracked her. "

"I tried the whole 'being nice and innocent' act. Because I truly was innocent and I didn't know what the hell I was doing there. I still don't. "

"I found her weakness. She wasn't as mean as the men in black. She cared about me..I figured out that she was forced into it and she didn't chose to do it. She gave me food and water every so often. But she always had something to occupy herself with, so she never had to talk to me. But she still did. We made eye contact every once in a while but then she left. I think-I mean I thought there was another person there. She or he wasn't conscious or anything because I never heard them talk. Or move. But I knew she was alive because I kept on seeing the girl going over and giving her food and water too.
She didn't want us to get hurt and whenever one of them did something to me...I'd always see her look away. I didn't count the days, because I never thought I'd make it out alive." He said. His eyes starting to swell from holding in his tears. "Her name was Cassie. She-" he paused. "She saved my life, and I'm never going to be able to thank her. She was the one who helped me escape. After a week or so I was able to get to her soft spot and I told her what would happen if she did this. Her soft spot was her family, I used that to get so her. I told her she'd never see her 2 year old son again, or her husband. She'd never see her mom, dad, grandma, everyone I could think of.
I used that to get myself out of the shithole. " I looked at his parents and they didn't even care that he had cussed, they were too shocked to respond. We all were.

I told her to save herself before it was too late. She nodded and told me to get out before they came back. If she wasn't gone before they got back...she would've died. Because of me. I wouldn't be able to live with myself for that, even though I'd never know if she got out or not." He stopped. "I just need some water. He said as he got up. I didn't follow him because I felt like this was a crucial moment for him to be left alone. I just sat back on the couch and looked up at the ceiling. I closed my eyes for a few moments before opening them.

He came out of the kitchen after like 3 minutes. He sat back down even closer to me if that was possible. He intertwined his hand with mine and his mom noticed but didn't say anything.

"Ahhh where was i...oh okay..So it was like 9ish I'm guessing when I got out. I ran and I ran as fast as I could until I couldn't anymore. I stopped under a tree to catch my breathe. I didn't see anything strange so I started walking and looked around. I was hoping to find a street somewhere soon but unfortunately I was out of luck. I must've been in the middle of nowhere or at least in another state. I was too scared to even try and hitchhike my way back home so I just asked someone for directions and I just walked. It took me..." he sighed. "....It took me a day to get back here and then another 15 minutes to get to Emily's house.
I guess that's practically it.." he said lying back and putting his hands over his eyes and wiping them.

Everyone was left stunned with no words to say for about 5 minutes. Adym didn't like the silence. "So... any questions?" He asked looking at everyone.

"I guess you explained it all well." I told him.

"I tried." He said looking back at me and smiling.

"I'm just glad you're back." I said putting my head on his shoulder.
"You're brave, you know that?" I said in his ear.

"I love you." He whispered to me and right after he kissed my forehead.
