Lauren's POV
~
"Breathe in. Breathe out. In. Out." I'm breathing heavily to the voice of a man. An unfamiliar man who is standing near me, who I assume is the one holding my hand. I squeeze my eyes right as I feel a pain pass through my toes, the whole way up my body, until it stops at my brain. I'm spinning out of control as I breathe heavier and heavier by the second, unable to move from my state of lying on the hard floor. I cannot think. I cannot move. The only thing I'm conscious of is the man in my head.

My head is cold; my eyes still shut tight. I feel a tingle in my toes as I wiggle them before pointing and flexing my feet. I'm no longer numb, and I can sit up. How long I have been here, lying down is only one question that strikes my throbbing head. I hear whispers from the mystery man, before I manage to open my dark eyes.

"Lauren! Thank goodness you're okay! That was he worst of your anxiety attacks I've dealt with. Did I do okay?" He speaks while holding my face in his hands and kisses me on he forehead. Who's Lauren? Is that me? I shuffle backwards away from the mystery man before not coming the pain in his eyes.

"Laur?" I crawl towards the philippine boy with dark eyes, and about the same complexion as mine. I pick up my arms and curious run them over my soft skin. He whispers again the same words.

      I scream.

"WHO IS LAUREN?" I'm outraged by this man touching me without my permission; calling me by some random name I have never heard. Have I ever known a name? Tears welt in his eyes, threatening to spill like a waterfall down his face. A short and chubby dog waffles over to me and licks my face. I stifle a laugh and rub his tiny belly as he rolls over.

"Lauren listen to me. Do you know who I am? Or who that is?" The mystery man tip toes over to the dog and me, and pets him while calling him a good boy.

      I shake my head, no.

"I'm your boyfriend, Alex Wassabi. Please remember me. You have to. Oh, and that's our dog Moose. You got him about a year ago." I stare blanky as the nonsense he is speaking does not register in my brain. I have a boyfriend? How old am I? Where am I?

"Alex. Alex. Alex. Moose. Moose. Moose." I speak his previous words over and over again trying to find any memories I have. None. I look around before picking up a small stuffed animal.

"Aw, he's cute. Is this yours?" I hold the little stuffie in my hand. The water flows fast from Alex's eyes. It's heartbreaking for me to watch, knowing he is my boyfriend, but me not remembering.

"That's bear bear. He's your favorite stuffed animal, except for baby Dino, but nobody likes him. Will you follow me? I have to take you somewhere." Alex offers his hand to me and shows me the way to a sleek black car which I assume is his. I don't know who to trust, but there is only one way to find out.

***

I'm strapped into a table, like the ones they use in medical shows like Grey's Anatomy. I'm scared. My breathing is heavy once again, and I can't seem to move. I feel trapped. Stuck in this hell I cannot escape from. Where is Alex? He is here to help me right? I call his name, but he's no where to be found. My face becomes damp as I lose sight of my surroundings, and everything goes black.
