It's angering how we'll never know just how many things exist. Just here, on planet Earth, almost 100% of the ocean hasn't been discovered, people can't say that things like unicorns and mermaids don't exist, because we don't know, we can't know. It gets even worse when you open it up to the universe. No one can deny that there is a possibility of living, intelligent life on another planet because the universe goes on forever.

As soon as we got to Teddy's house, she made sure all of the doors and windows were locked, and their home security system was on high alert.

We gathered around the kitchen island and put the two books in the middle of it.

"Oh my God." this was madness, this was crazy, you always dream of getting swept up in the tide of magic and witches and wizards and dumb supernatural and supernal beings, but when it happens, it's a lot to take in.

"Can we talk about it now?" Cameron asked, clearly trying to make a point. Teddy glared at him, "What's there to talk about?" the only reasonable explanation is that this is a dream, or we've all taken some sort of narcotic, because this doesn't happen to normal people like us! Elena Gilbert? Sure. Harry Potter? Of course. Even Jack and his stupid beanstalk! But not us!"

I mean, she was right. Things like this don't happen to ordinary people. And we are as ordinary as ordinary gets. Well, minus the fact that they have more money than ten low income families combined.

"But it did happen! Do you remember taking narcotics? Don't you think you would've woken up by now? It's happening, and it's weird and all, but you can't look me in the eyes and tell me that this isn't cool!" Cameron exclaimed. He has a point, too. Let's think about this. We now have access to magic. Like, real magic. And it is cool! It's nothing short of awesome! We've just been introduced to a world of endless possibilities.

"Cameron's right." I said, Teddy looked rather alarmed while Cameron just smirked.

"Most people only dream of this happening to them. It would only be fair of us to soak it up. Teddy, you can't seriously tell us you don't think this is just a little cool, can you?" I asked.

She gave a tiny smile and agreed. "Ya, I guess it's pretty cool."

"Well, should we see what this book has in store for us?" Cameron asked. We crowded around the book.

I grabbed it and flipped to a page somewhere in the middle. I was met with a beautiful woman staring back. Her eyes were steel grey, and almost cold, but never ending. And deep raven hair that went down to her lower back, that was curved and wrapping around her.

I looked at the title of the page.

Necromancer-

Necromancer's are beings that can switch between the realms of the dead and the living. They also have the ability to raise the dead and create ghosts, and, more often than not, poltergeists. There were many in ancient times, but their numbers have started to dwindle to almost nothing. Despite raising spirits as their number one ability, they have many others including casting spells, healing (very few magical entities can do this), creating charms to cause both protection and harm, capture energy in the air and create spell barriers, and even steal the souls out of a dying being's body, to either restore their own energy or to give to another body. You would think that this is where their realm of power ends, but necromancers are one of the most powerful magical entities known. They also can communicate with the dead, as well as raise it. It shows that they would be very useful for exorcism, but none have tried to date. They are also very common with demons, and although demons are annoying creatures, they have many uses that the necromancers use to their advantage, including the succubus (see in S), an impaliatorum (see I), and a frostmiene (see yeti or F). The necromancers are extremely powerful and mustn't be trifled with.

I finished reading and started to feel faint. The first page we open up to, and it's a page about a powerful magical entity that could easily tear me to smithereens.

"Well, that was a horrible start." Teddy groaned, covering her face.

"They're probably not all that bad, right guys?" Cameron asked, hopefully. He flipped to a page in the front of the book, and we saw the picture- some sort of mangled looking dog with no fur, looking to be the size of a great dane.

Chupacabra-

The Chupacabra translated means 'goat sucker' and was first seen in Puerto rico and has since been seen all over the Americas. Although they mostly attack goats and suck their blood, some hunters and assassins have reported them being an aggressive animal, others believe they can be scared off by loud noises and bright lights. After bringing one in to investigate, their dna was found as astonishingly having reptile, vampire, and demon in them. They are fast runners and have both reptilian scales and mangy fur, they can also hop in similar fashion to kangaroos. Some can be tamed, otherwise, hunters should always carry high wattage flashlights and, if possible, a dog whistle, as this is also known to scare them away.

"Well, that one isn't as bad." Cameron said. I glared at him.

Teddy was still looking at it, "It says hunters in this one, what are hunters?" she said, looking up and glancing in between Cameron and I.

"I guess it would be too much to ask for the description to be in the book." Cameron opened the book toward the end of the h's. Humans was one of the pages, but then it just skipped to Imps. A ruff tear in the middle told us that it was torn out.

"They took out the hunter page." I said, turning around in screaming internally.

"This is so frustrating," Cameron hit his hands down on the book, I know that much because I heard it, what happened next, though, I have no clue what happened.

Images and words seemed to project from the book. Cameron, obviously confused, removed his hands from the book, but the projection remained. Every small possible detail about ice demons swirling around the air.

"Woah." Teddy said, walking closer to the island, same with me.

"What did you do?" Teddy asked, reaching her hand up and running her hand through the words and images suspended in the air.

"I don't know." He touched the book again and the words disappeared, being sucked back into the book.

"Alright then, at least it hasn't been the craziest thing to have happened." I said, grabbing the book again. Turning it to the front, I tried to find assasin, which, surprise surprise, was also gone.

"Do you think you could do that with the leftover rip from the page?" Teddy asked.

He tried, it didn't work.

"Well, now what?" We looked at each other, and realized we had no clue.
