Captured

Chapter 2

Darcy growled. "Do not drag her into this to Abner." Lord Abner chuckled.

"It seems you are forming a habit of hurting your sisters. Although there is only one now." Abner smirked. "Granted Isidora brought herself in this by helping you. Fortunately for you I know you did not kill Avery." I growled in surprise and anger. If he knew then why are they still hunting Darcy?

"I am going to have to take her with me. I'm terribly sorry my darling for the inconvenience but its the only way your brother will comply." Abner starting pulling me away with him. Darcy looked pained. I could tell he wanted to come after us but did not want to risk harming me.

"Darcy, no matter what do not come after me. I will be fine. Tis not like the Leaders to murder swiftly. Go find our brothers, they will know what to do." I hoped telling him that would prevent any rash and stupid actions.

"Darcy you have my word no harm will come to your sister. I will speak to the Leaders about negotiation. It would be easier if you simply turned yourself in though." Abner told him.

"Noo!" I screamed. "Darcy don't you dare turn yourself in. They won't be so gentle with you as they are with me." Darcy hung his head, turned around and slowly walked away. Lord Abner tied my wrists together behind my back with silver rope. He began leading me down the mountain letting out a low whistle alerting the other Leaders to return.

They blindfolded me so I couldn't compell them. Normally vampires can't compell other vampires but my family has noble blood and can. Technically we should be The Leaders but they didn't want to be under a monarchy. Claimed we would become to powerful for our own good. Bunch of hogwash.

I was shoved into the back of a van. We drive for 4 hours if my counting was right. I knew then they weren't taking me to the castle. The castle would have only been an hour. Suddenly we stop and I feel hands grab my roughly pushing me out of the van. We walk across grass for 30 steps then they open a door leading me through. They lead me up 100 stairs. I think....

"Now, Isidora, Lord Abner has graciously agreed to keep watch over you in his Chambers." I rolled my eyes although they couldn't see them. My luck he will cut off a finger each day I'm here just to spite my brother. I'm led into his chamber where I'm unblindfolded. I look around to see I'm alone with Abner.

"Don't even try compelling me. My will is much stronger than yours." he sneers at me. I shrug my shoulders. I know my brothers will get me out and clear Darcy's name.
