Jimin was on a mission of somewhat avoidance, but not entirely. He wasn't avoiding Yoongi, he was avoiding his feelings for Yoongi. He knew he still liked him, platonically or romantically was something he hadn't figured out. But he liked spending time with him, that much he was certain of. But he couldn't deny that he tried to kiss Yoongi, and he couldn't deny that he wanted it. He felt foolish afterwards, when Yooongi pecked him on the cheek, leaving him a flustered, confused mess.

They got to their apartment around 10pm, and Jimin was in disbelief. He couldn't believe how quickly the day had passed. He knew in his head he had to call his mom and make up some kind of excuse, but he didn't know how to approach it. He had to prepare himself for her angry yelling on the other end of the line, but he was used to that kind of thing.

Mirai: 8:00am: Happy Birthday Baby <3

Mirai: 12:05pm: you awake yet?

Mirai: 5:28pm: leaving for the restaurant now. See you there :)

Mirai: 6:03pm: are you ok??? Where are you??

Mirai: 7:12pm: me and your mother just finished dinner. Call me when you can.

Jimin felt awful, he really, really did. He unintentionally stood all over anyone he let into his life, it wasn't fair on them. He wondered if he should break up with Mirai just to be fair to her, she deserved better but she would never seek it by herself. But then Jimin remembered his mother, and how heartbroken she would be, and decided against it. He was whipped and under the control of his mother, and he didn't know how to break loose of that.

It was Halloween and Jimin thought he might be losing his mind. As he stood there, with his head over the bath, watching as the stained water disappeared down the drain. He didn't know what told him to do what he was going to do, but he felt like today was his only chance to be able to do it. He towel dried his hair, almost screaming when he looked in the mirror. It was an achingly long process, he had to admit, and Yoongi couldn't keep him company as he left hours ago with Namjoon as they were setting up the biggest party of the year. Jimin was invited and he was going, the rules were that a dress-up was necessary, so he guessed that's what he was doing.

He noticed how happily he was smiling after that. He felt great about himself for once, it was exhilarating. He walked back into his room, noting the clothes he had left for himself on his bed. Maybe his actions were ridiculous, in fact, he knew they were. But Yoongi had taught him that crazy was good sometimes, if you wanted to have fun. Jimin really did have intentions of having one night where he did, well, whatever the fuck he wanted to. He had been restrained for so long that he was rewarding himself with one night, just one night.

Jimin looked in the mirror, his hand shaking with how hard he was concentrating as he lifted the black pencil to his eye.

Just one night. I promise.

The only person more excited than Taehyung was Jungkook, which at first Yoongi didn't know was possible. The pair had offered to help out Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi, saying since they were younger they knew what was "hip" and "cool." But after Yoongi caught them stealing jelly shots whenever someone wasn't looking, he doubted their intentions were pure.

They had rented out a house for the night. An entire house. The whole school practically chipped in to fund it, so no one was really being put on the spot. Jimin offered to pay for the entire thing, whereas he might be rich, Yoongi wasn't gonna let him do something stupid. Even if he was a stupid person, he wasn't going to let his actions resemble that.
