Bella's POV

"Bella are you ready for training!" my mum Kathy calls

"Yes mum!" I call back

I've been going to the Elite Academy for Magic (E.A.M) for 3 years now and I'm so grateful, I never fitted in to my school and now I feel like I belong somewhere. I have a little sister who's 4 now and a little brother who's 2 they are not my biological family, but I still love them like they are.

I run downstairs, kiss my brother and sister and hug my dad then head out to my car. I jump in and speed off. Soon I arrive at the academy and park my car walking in casually, no one can get in except if the have the key and are scanned to make sure they're not an imposer. I've heard rumours about a group of people that don't want people like me to be alive!

"Bell! Hey Bell!" my bestie Layla  shouts

"Oh hey La la" I grin at her

"Hey Bell, Azar needs to see you" Layla says

"Okay" I reply Azar is our leader

I quickly walk to his office as he hates when people are late. When I get there I see my crush Zack Eastwood standing by the door waiting to be let in, oh maybe he has an appointment first I'll just wait here, I think to myself.  "Zack come in, oh hello Bella come in" Azar greets me, Azar is only 35 and is still quite handsome as well as friendly.

"You wanted to see me Azar" I question

"Yes, I did I need people to go out and find as many poison darts as you can" he explains

"Umm.... what?" I say confusion written on my face

"Oh you haven't heard about the people who want us gone" Azar says 

"Yeah I have, are they called poison Darts" I ask

"Yep, and I need you and Zack to go find them for me" he says

"Wait why?" I ask still confused

"Because you are an excellent fighter and Zack has been missions before" Azar says simply

"Thank you Azar" I smile

"No worries, now you'll be leaving tomorrow and if you don't get back in a matter of 4 months we'll search for you. Oh and we'll supply money and devices for you"  Azar says

"Okay, how do we know that they are Poison Darts?" Zack speaks up

"You'll know,  they usually have a mark on their wrists that looks like a star in flames" Azar says

"Okay thank you sir" Zack and I say in unison

I walk out absorbed in my thoughts, I bump into someone and realise it's Zack. "Oh sorry " I say blushing 

"That's alright" he smiles reassuringly at me. Zack is tanned and has light brown messy hair with green eyes, while I have hombre hair dark brown into light brown waist high and I'm only slightly tanned with hazel eyes.

"So um are you excited or nervous" I gulp, I have a crush on him and don't really talk to him instead I try to hide from him

"I'd say both" he says

"Oh I'm mainly nervous and honoured that Azar thinks I'm worthy enough" I say

"Well you are really good at controlling telekinesis" he compliments 

"What's your power?" I ask while blushing

"My power is controlling water, so I can make it do whatever I want it to do and I can turn it into ice or mist" he informs me

"That's pretty cool" I grin at him, my normal self starting to appear

"Yeah, but so is yours" he says frowning slightly, oh he's jelly (jealous) of my power , I sigh in my head

"Alright let's just say, we're both amazing and so is our powers" I try to make him feel better

"Okay, I can tell we're gonna have a lot of fun on this mission" Zack says grinning broadly

"But aren't we meant to work?" I ask tilting my head slightly

"You're cute" he says laughing

"We can have fun, but work at the same time" he says still silently laughing 

"Hey don't laugh I was just worried, this is my first mission after all" I say defensive

"Oh sorry Bella" he apologises

"That's alright, you can show me the ropes anyway" I say
