taehyung swore that his mouth never felt so tired before.
he introduced his sister and her background for at least a minute and a two but he knew that the longest to explain was her problem.
"we've been taking her to different hospitals to help her lessen her seizures and all but none would give us advises."
"and why is that?" seokjin interrogated.
"majority of them told us that they're still not updated on how to facilitate people with leukemia. we know that leukemia has no cure but they should have known on how to take care of people who has them." taehyung was upset. they've travelled around different places but everything was fruitless.
"it's true that leukemia has no cures but i suggest we check her up again." the doctor spoke again, trying to comfort the other with his voice.
jimin just stood there, definitely saw someone he didn't expect.

yoongi escorted alex into the room in order for them to finalize her problems. he was getting tired now. overworking was not uncommon to him but it was getting overboard. despite of being sluggish, he walked outside the operating room. for once he was determined to look for seokjin. minutes of searching came to an end when he found his work partner with two other people that was not familiar to him.
except for one.
"jimin."
"long time no see, hyung."
tension was tainting the ambience. cold icy glares were exchanged but yoongi and jimin still gave each other a handshake. the skin contact was tight and unsettling, hands squeezing intensely to show dominance. the shorter doctor was naturally aggressive. no one attempted to extenuate his dope looks and attitude aside from one person.
seokjin and taehyung almost drowned in discomfort. the two described it as a flustering sight. the other pair untangled their hold and faced away after.
"i-uh..you guys knew each other before?" offering an awkward boxy smile, taehyung broke the silence.
"it's obvious, isn't it?"
"i guess that's a good thing..?" alex's brother added.
"not really."
the hospital halls were filled with the undying sounds of people hours ago and the group of males stood in silence afterwards.
"so-yoongi! you were looking for me right? " the tallest among them stroke another conversation, shattering the stillness looming in every corner of the place.
"ah, yes. the checking up already started and we need you there."
"okay okay. thanks for informing me. so..um, thank you for the time jimin and taehyung. i would appreciate if you comeback tomorrow for more information about alex." he smiled. seokjin waved his hands as they stepped away from the others.
