Shawn and I have been dating for just over two years now, and things were getting serious.
And tonight I had a feeling we were going to be closer than ever before, and I was
right.
"Y/N, I need to ask you something."
He murmured as we sat around the campfire, in the moonlight, roasting marshmallows, wih Shawn gently strumming his guitar. He turned to face me, with that
heart melting smile which he asked me out with. I smiled back, looking
up at him through my eyelashes.
"I have known you for 2 years now, Y/N, and I love you too much to ever let you go."
Shawn said softly, getting down on one knee. My eyes filled with tears as he
pulled a red velvet box out of his pocket.
"Just say I do?"
He sang softly, holding the box open. The diamond ring sparkled as the moonlight
caught the precious stones, and I let out a soft squeal.
"Yes! Oh my god Shawn, yes!"
I jumped off the old oak log we were sat on and wrapped my arms around Shawn's neck, pressing my lips against his. I heard slow clapping from the trees and quickly broke off
the kiss. It was the Magcon boys, Nash and Cameron and Matt, all whistling and
clapping. Shawn slid the ring onto my finger and I brushed away a tear
from my face.
"Shawn I love you so much!"
I murmured softly as we embraced each other.
"I love you too Y/N, and I can't wait to start our life together, properly."
