Happiest Day of My Life

I woke up. Today was the first day of my first year at high school. I got up and got dressed in my grey shirt, black jeans, dark purple sneakers, and black hoodie. I put on my purple headphones and turned on "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. I had thirty minutes left so I sat down and started working on a story I created. "Jack had to gain courage to get what he wante-WAFFLEZ, SCHOOL!" I was in the middle of writing when my mom called me down. "Alright! Coming!!!" I yelled as I ran downstairs and ran out, getting onto the bus. My friend Ian was already there. "Sup?" I said, and he looked up from his homework. With a smirk, he replied, "Jinx is in the bac-" I was already gone before he finished. As I walked up to the extremely cute green and purple haired girl named Jinx, my red eyes darted from side to side, looking for somewhere to hide. Nope. Just my luck. "H-hey Jinx..." I smiled nervously at her. "Hi." she smiled back. Wait, was she blushing too? Next to her, her sister Nynx was busy talking to Linx, their little cousin. I awkwardly sat next to her and said, "You're going to Craft High this year?" She nodded and smiled, her cheeks still a little pink. "Do you have a fever? You're a little red..." I asked as I felt her forehead. She felt perfectly fine but in a few seconds she freaked out and fainted, her face extremely red. Nynx woke her up and I went sit by Ian as Jinx sat and stared at her hands the whole time. We got to school and after I waved bye to Jinx and stared at her for about two minutes, Ian and I went to class. "Hello class today during chemistry we will..." none of the words got to me, all I could think of was Jinx. Her beautiful purple and green hair, the way she laughed, how cute she looked when she blushed...MEHHHH not important! Grades come first! "Wafflez." our chemistry teacher, Mr. Bond, called. "Huh?!" I snapped out of it. "I asked a question and would appreciate it if you could stop daydreaming." he said, as the class snickered, "Now, to test you, I'll ask an easy question. What is the chemical symbol for gold?" I thought quickly, "Um, that'd be Au from the Latin 'Aurum' meaning Gold.", I replied. "Excellent." Mr. Bond said, and with that he continued the lesson. I could tell about each and every period, but I'll skip to dismissal. At dismissal, Jinx and I walked to our lockers, which were right next to eachother. "Hey J-Jinx..." I started. "H-hi..." She replied in a tiny voice, her head in her locker. Finally Nynx pulled her out. "You obviously both like eachother, kiss already!" and she pushed Jinx towards me. Jinx crashed into me and we both fell to the ground, our lips crashing together. At first both pairs of eyes were widened in shock but just as quickly the closed and as both pulled back from the kiss, they stayed closed. "Y-you like me?" I asked, my eyes finally opening. She blushed and nodded. "Jinx?..." I slowly said. "Yes?" she looked at me. "Go out with me?" I asked. "YES!" and she jumped on me as Ian and Nynx screamed "FINALLY."
