Chapter 6

Makayla's Pov

Josh and I were now officially dating but there's one thing, his parents don't know about us and neither do my parents. So we can't kiss, hug, or do anything romantic with them around, so now he just picks on me and pretends he doesn't like me. For example he pinches me, punches, leaves bruises, trips me. I hit him when ever he does that but it's all apart of the act.

I had to babysit Josh's brother and sister this weekend and I'm so excited josh had something planned for me but I didn't know what. It's Friday night and his dad is coming to pick me up, because my parents have to work late tonight.

I packed my cloths a hour or so before he was coming to pick me up. I packed two pairs of cloths, undies, short shorts and a tank top for pajamas. His dad ended up coming a little late but if I get to at least see josh it's fine.

When I got there josh wasn't there yet. I asked his dad "where's josh?"

His dad replied "At his friends house, why your gunna miss him?" I replied "no" in the most sarcastic voice possible and then I was like oh, shit! Now he's gunna think I like him! "Don't worry he'll be back soon" his dad said with a chuckle in his voice.

Josh's brother and sister were playing on the xbox in the living room I was in there with them, then I heard Josh's friends parents drop him off and they honked the horn as they drove away. Josh walked in the door and saw me sitting on the couch, he smiled then I smiled back. I told him "your dad wants you to help him out in the garage." He replied "okay" and he walked out into the garage.

About 20 minutes later josh came inside and told me to come outside with him. I said "no,why do you want me out there?" He replied "because I don't want to be alone" I started to get annoyed and I said " but your dad is out there" he tried to use a puppy dog face I didn't work."exactly that's why I want you outside with me." I refused everything, he picked me up and carried me out into the garage. This happened for an hour or so, I tried to go inside, he wouldn't let me and so on....

Finally his little brother came out into the garage and asked me to come inside. I said to myself "thank you!!!!" So I ran in side and went down stairs with Max, and played a game with Max, Emma, Sophia, and Page.

Joshs pov

"Really max!"I said to myself quietly. "You really need to play a game with Makayla you have a friend over play with her!!" I sucked it up and kept working on the car with my dad.

*1 hour later*

My dad was finally done on the car. I went inside to find Kayla on the couch, my brother and sister down stairs. I walked up to Kayla and plopped on her lap, she let out an "ow..." And she said "what do you want?" I replied "nothing" until I heard the garage door open, I jumped off her lap and went into the computer room to play x-box.
