I started packing my stuff just as the bell rang, signaling it was time for my second and favorite class, AP Calculus. I might sound like a complete nerd saying that, but hey, truth's gotta come out some time. So when I excitedly speed walked my way into the second building, I was surprised when I saw a sticky note on the door.

Mrs. Robbins' class will be held in the library from today until May 3rd.

In the library? Learning math? Can this get any better? It'll be perfect. Looking left, I'd find books, looking right, I'd also find books. While learning my favorite subject. I probably gave you all the idea that I'm one of those nerds, but who cares?! I'm going to the library!

Right after I turned around, I realized there were voices coming from the classroom. Curiously, I leaned my head against the door, listening to their conversation like a freak.

"Did you...or will..call?" I barely heard a thing due to the fact that their voices were muffled.

"No? Have to....soon!" I grew frustrated when I couldn't make out a thing. Then, out of nowhere, the tardy bell rang, causing me to jump and let out a high pitched yelp. The conversation abruptly stopped, making me panic. There was nowhere to hide, so I did the only thing that came to mind, I just stood there, frozen. Thank God I stood frozen behind the door, or else I would've looked really stupid.

As smart as I might be in academics, I wasn't so great at common sense. So it wasn't a surprise when I realized that there was a window on the door, and anyone inside could see what was going on outside the classroom. So I stayed frozen, not moving a single muscle, hoping that the guy with the curly hair that I recognize from this morning won't see me.

My hopes weren't answered as the curly haired boy smirked, and made his way to the door.

He tapped Louis' right shoulder, who was holding the door, still stupidly looking around for me.

"Yeah, mate?" He said in a British accent, making me go wide eyed. I did not expect him to have a British accent. The guy with the curly hair nodded his head to my direction.

Traitor.

You don't even know him! The rational side of my brain yelled.

Well, he still betrayed my pleading looks.

You didn't give him pleading looks you moron!

I cut off the silent conversation with myself as Louis slowly pulled the door. I started breathing heavily, not knowing what he would do if he saw me.

"Look at that. It's the nosy buffoon again. What's your name?" He looked pretty mad. The one with the curly hair just smirked behind him. I glared at him. I straightened my back and calmed down.

"I, uh, my name is Rose, and I'll be on my way." Just as I started leaving, Louis held on to my wrist.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Did you hear anything you weren't supposed to?"

I contemplated on telling him I heard a bit, but then realized that would get me in trouble.

"No, no I didn't."

"I don't trust you, buffoon, but I'll let you go this time." He squinted his eyes in suspicion.

"Stop calling me a buffoon! And thanks, I appreciate that you'll let me go, I'm so glad." I said, sarcastically. The boy behind him, smirked, but still didn't say anything. For an odd reason, I want to listen to his voice. I want to know how he sounds when he talks, screams, whispers, just anything. It's a bit weird, and creepy, I admit. I turned on my heel, and was about to leave, but I heard Louis' voice as he said, "By the way, my name is Louis, you probably already know. My friend's name here is Harry. And he seems to be interested." I ignored him, well tried to, as I walked away, insecurity growing in every step I took.

I went downstairs to the library, and heard Mrs. Robbin's voice giving instructions to an assignment she obviously gave us.

I slowly went in, catching the attention of everyone, unfortunately. I went to a random seat and the class kept going. As they were working on their papers, I got my finished one from my bag, and walked to where the teacher was sitting.

"Mrs. Robbin, I'm so sorry I'm late. To make up for it, the paper you gave me ahead of time is done." I pushed the paper to her desk.

"It's alright, but never do I want to see it happen again. Thank you, I'll grade your paper and return it when I could."

"Thank you, it won't happen again." I smiled and walked back to my seat, glad she didn't give me detention after school.

"Nerd." I heard someone whisper.

"Teacher's pet." I heard another.

Ignoring them all, well trying to, isn't so easy. Especially when they won't stop.

I sighed and decided to get a book to read. I was so distracted by the book that I didn't even realize everyone was laughing at me now.

It's better than being at home, though.
