Chapter 2.

Wednesday.

Walking into a local gym in Wisconsin with Nia on this bright and sunny morning just seemed off today. Normally I loved waking up fresh in the morning and then hitting the gym with one of my best friends but I just wasn't in the mood today and I never knew why. 

"Hey girl. You alright?" Asked Nia. She already noticed that I wasn't myself today, probably because I've been awfully quiet, which isn't normal for me.

"Yeah I'm good. I'm just tired, that's all." I said, trying to sound a little enthusiastic.

"Are you sure?" She asked, sounding a little worried.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said. Somehow I didn't sound too convincing.

I stopped walking and waited for Nia to be atleast three feet away from me and when she was, I quickly jumped onto her back.

"See. I'm completely fine." I chuckled.

"That's my girl." She said.

Nia carried me all the way to the gym locker room. We quickly changed into our gyms clothes and walked back into the equipment area where we started to do our daily workouts.

After doing our workouts, Nia and I decided to go for a light snack. We went to one of the takeaways and both ordered a chicken salad.

While having our meal, we both chatted about stuff like work and especially Nia's wedding that's in a few months. I'm so excited about her wedding. I am one of the bridesmaid of course! No shocker there.

After having lunch, Nia and I went back to the gym. We walked into the gym and noticed two very familiar people working out. I smiled when I saw the Architect and the Swiss Superman both lifting weights.

Cesaro was the first to notice us and walked over to us. "Hey ladies." He greeted.

"Hey Superman." I smiled and hugged him.

"You girls ready to do your workout?" He asked.

"Oh we already did our workouts. We just came back from lunch." I replied.

"Oh sweet." Cesaro said.

"Hey you guys." Said Seth with a smile on his face.

"I'll be lifting weights if y'all need me." Said Cesaro.
With that he was gone.

"Yeah I'm gonna go too." Nia said. She left, leaving just me and Seth behind.

"Alexis Kaufman, just the girl I wanted to see." Seth said and wrapped his hands around me.

"Ugh. You're only this nice when you want something." I rolled my eyes.

"You're right. I do want something. I want a girl friend to talk too." He smiled.

Seth and I always had a good friendship. He's the ideal friend or should I say friend with benefits. Yes, Seth and I have that kind of friendship. He's a good friend overall and I feel like I can talk to him about everything and anything and he feels the same way. I trust him and he trusts me.

"In that case, I'm your girl." I smirked. He kept silent for a while as his mind wandered. "You know you can talk to me about anything. So spill it, Ninja Warrior." I  practically ordered him.

"Well I'm kinda in love with someone." He said.

"Oh my gosh. Yes!! Finally Seth!!" I said, excitedly.

"Yeah. It's been a while since I've fallen in love." Seth admitted, slyly.

Seth's last relationship didn't turn out so well. He really loved her but she ended up cheating on him. Yeah. I know.

What a bitch right?

That experience left him very hurt and heartbroken. He's been single ever since and that happened over a year ago.

"So who's this lucky girl?" I asked.

"You know her." He smiled.

"Wait, she works with us?" I asked.

"Yep. You got three guesses." He smirked.

Ahh I love the guessing game. Let's do this. It will obviously be someone from RAW. I hope.
Say... who has Seth suddenly got close too recently?

"Hmmmm Sasha?" I asked.

"Nope. Two more." He smirked.

Not Sasha huh. Oh I remember seeing him with Emma recently. But eww no.

"Emma?"

Please not Emma.

Please not Emma.

"Nope. Last guess."

Thank God.

Summer? Oh gosh. No. Not again! These two dated back in NXT. It was bad. Their relationship was so cute and perky. It was annoying really!

"Please not Summer again." I begged.

"Nope." He said.

Phew.

But damn. I didn't win.

"Who is it?" I asked, anxiously  

"Pamela." He blushed while saying her name.

Oh Bayley. Yes!! I'm so happy for him. He made the right choice. Bayley is such a sweetheart. They will make a really cute couple.

I can't believe I didn't guess her though.

"Yes. Seth. You should definitely go for it." I smiled.

"But I don't know if she will like me too." He said and started to look a little down.

"What! Seth, are you crazy? Of course, she'll love you. You're the man." I said, trying to boost his confidence.

"Seth Rollins is the man, not Colby Lopez." He replied.

"Are you kidding me? Colbs, you are one of the most amazing people I know. Apart from being extremely talented, you are so down to earth and smart. In a world like this, you're that one guy everyone needs to bring joy and laughter into their life. Love, you are truly one of a kind." I said and rubbed his back gently.

"Lex, you really know how to make someone feel better." He said and grappled me into a hug.

"I'm always here for you." I said. "Just be yourself around Bayley and you'll see how fast things will start to work out between you two."

I smiled at him and leaned towards him. He leaned forward and I crashed my lips into his. He asked for an entrance and I gladly accepted his request. After a few seconds, I pulled away.

"So, I guess that means that we're over?" He asked.

"Yep." I replied and smiled. "But hey, you will always be my Ninja Warrior." With that I walked over to Nia to proceed with our training.
