Chapter 9:A Drunk OPA

Christmas Eve:
Liv was called into work by a client three days before Christmas and now it was time for them to meet. She wasn't really happy about it but she figured she'd push on through it. Abby and the rest of the team even showed up with her.

They set the meeting for late in the after noon giving them time to get asituated with everything. They hadn't been to work in a while after all. Liv sat her things in her office sitting at her desk. She watched Abby, Quinn and Harrison in the conference room laughing at whatever while Huck was tucked deep in his office on his laptop.

She plopped down in her seat taking a quick glance over her desk before she flipped open her laptop. She was immediately greeted with a cute picture of her and Mellie snuggled up on the couch in their college years. It was still till this day one of her favorite pictures.

She heard something shatter and immediately turned toward Abby, Quinn and Harrison who were trying to pour out some Scootched Abby brought over. She got uo from her seat and marched over to them. "Really guys!? We have a client coming in less than a hour." Her arms were crossed over her chest and her eyes were narrowed. That had never pulled anything like this before so she didn't understand why they were doing it now.

Quinn continued pouring out her drink while Harrison swept up the glass cup abby dropped. "Well this client isn't really important so... I'm drinking." She raisednher glass in the air before she chugged down the drink wincing as it ran down her throat.

Liv was about to say something when she heard a very thick accent come from down the hallway. "Hey Liv." She was frozen in her tracks hearing his voice again. She quickly turned around her hair flying all over her face. Her face lit up in pure joy as she saw Stephan standing right next to Mellie.

"Stephie!" She screamed running toward him at lightening speed. He dropped his suitcases and opened his arms for her. Their bodies collided in a impactful hug bringing tears to everyone around them. "I thought you left." She mumbled in his chest.

Stephan was her childhood bestfriend and one of the first people she ever hired to work with her. He moved out of the buisness two years before her she broke it off with Fitz and she thought he definalty forgot all about her but clearly he didn't. "Nope. I just couldn't find you quick enough." When their bodies finally separated she felt the arms of the others wrapped around her.

"This is your early Christmas present." Mellie kissed the top of her head softly rubbing her back as Liv stood with her face completely buried in her hands. Harrison and Huck as well as Stephan were very surprised by the kiss but kept their mouths shut.

"We all pitched in." Huck added. She finally showed her face to the group revealing her tears that were streaming down her face. "I love you guys." She sobbed before they all wrapped their arms around her.

Stephan stood over her ruffling her hair like he used to do when she was younger. She laughed playfully thumping his chest. "Move back. I'll still twist your nipple until you scream." Her comment made the group erupt in laughter. It was nice seeing this happen in front of them. Their best friend reunited with her old child hood friend.

But most of all Liv was happy for Abby. Her and Stephan had always liked eachother... They just never acted on it.

Everyone sat around the conference table half of them drunk out of their minds including Mellie who was a drunker than the rest. The only sober ones were Liv, Harrison, and Stephan everyone else was completely destroyed and conquered by the alcohol.

"I'm soooo drunk." Abby slurped taking another gulp of her drink. "Hey quick question. Is greek yogurt in Greece just yogurt?" Liv shook her head at her poor drunk friend while stroking her fingers through Mellie's hair. Mell was laying right on her being lulled to sleep with Liv's smooth touch. Liv found it completely adorable and couldn't turn her eyes from Mellie fighting to stay awake instead of just falling asleep like Huck had did two hours ago.

"You're sleepy aren't you?" She teased her girlfriend making her giggle a little. She nodded her head cuddling more into Liv's side which made Liv laugh. Her fingers continued running through her hair until she saw her fall asleep in her lap. She leaned down and pressed a soft kiss over Mellie's forehead before she looked back up toward the group.

Quinn was staring directly at them a wide smirk over her facial features along with Abby. Harriom snickered and shook his head, "I knew you two were doing something with eachother." He snatched the bottle from abby who cut him a dark look and chugged it before wiping his lips with his shirt sleeve. "Nice to see you finally getting some play time Liv."

Stephan chuckled a little making Liv cut him a sharp look. He shrugged his shoulders at her before she turned toward Harrison. She teasingly licked out her tongue making the others laugh. Just as the laughing died down Huck let out a loud snore startling Stephan who was right beside him.

He even reached for Liv before he realized it was just Huck and not whatever he thought it was. "Don't judge me. That isn't a normal snore and you know Liv." Before Liv could even reply to Stephan Abby spoke up again slurring thought her words, "If you were a horriable person but you drowned in holy water... Would you go to heaven?" Liv couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't because of the questions it was because Abby looked like she was genually thinking about it and that too liv was priceless.

"Here's another one! Does a tree have a family tree and if it does... Is that a forrest?" Stephan stood uo from his chair walking toward Abby.

"Okay! Enough of drinks for you! Let's get going!" She watched as Stephan picked abby uo like she weighed nothing and carried her out ignoring her slurs for her to be out down.

Harrison and Liv looked at eachother. "Well I'm too drunk to drive and if I wake Huck up he'll kill us all so we're gonna binge here." He got uo from his seat and moved into the back room and plopped down on the couch leaving Liv and a sleeping Mellie alone.

Liv finally got Mellie in her apartment laying her in the bed. She was a little bit more sober than what she was which Liv smiled at. That meant the nap worked. After she changes into her pajamas she crawled into the bed next to Mellie who was patiently waiting for her to get in the bed. Once she was her arms immediately found their way to her waist.

"I see youre not drunk anymore? Welcome back to earth sweetheart." Liv thumb went up to Mellie's cheek gently stroking it. She slowly inched forward until their lips came together in a kiss. It was slow and soft. They just wanted to feel eachother nothing else.

Mellie's hands slipped under Liv's pajama shirt making her shiver feeling her hands on her back. Mellie smirked as they kissed enjoying the effect she had on Olivia. She rolled over on top of Liv so she could straddle her.

Liv's hands ran through Mellie's silky hair as their kiss began to get more heated and spicy. Mellie slwoly eased Liv shirt off of her throwing it to the floor. Liv snapped out of her trance feeling the cold breeze hit her skin. She cupped Mellie's cheeks pulling away from the kiss.

"Livvie..." Mellie whined "Stop being a party pooper." She laid her head between Liv's shoulder while Liv lightly chuckled.

"We said we'd wait until the perfect moment to... You know-"

"Have sex? Ain't no shame in it baby. Say it loud and proud! Sex!" Liv couldn't control her laughter. Mellie was clearly more drunk than what she originally thought. Her lips were gently pecking the sides of Liv's neck as she got comfortable under the sheets.

"I know. I just got carried away. I mean who wouldn't? Have you seen yourself? Jesus couldn't even resist temptation if he saw you."

The chocolate girl laughed with Mellie as she turned out the lamp light. She kissed Mellie over the lips still chuckling, "Go to sleep before you say something so outragious I have to kick you out." She listened to Mellie's giggle before it went silent. She 100 percent though Mellie was asleep when she heard her mumbled out "Your boobs are soft babe."

She bursted into laughter along with Mellie, "You are a handful!" She cackled kissing over Mellie's cheek.
