Boruto shook his head violently, water spraying everywhere. He then rubbed the towel over his wet hair, looking down at his soaking we jacket in annoyance. "Did you have to push me into the lake?!" He asked Shisui, groaning. "Now I'm all wet."

"Uh, yeah. That's usually what happens when you get pushed into a lake..." Older Naruto laughed.

"Why are you laughing?! Aren't you gonna help me?" Boruto complained, taking off his jacket and twisting it, removing some of the water and letting it leak onto the floor.

"Why? You know I love a good prank as much as the next guy." Naruto asked, taking the jacket from his son and continuing to wring it out. Boruto removed his shirt and twisted the shirt the same way, water leaking out of it and onto the grassy ground.

"You look like you were drowned and brought back to life!" Shisui clutched his stomach, eyes watering from the laughter.

Boruto frowned at the playful Uchiha. "You're old! You shouldn't be pulling pranks!"

Shisui laughed harder. "You honestly expect me to be boring like Itachi? PFFTTT. What kind of Uzumaki are you?! I met your grandma, you know. She was awesome."

"Kushina-obaa-chan?" Boruto's face stretched into a grin. "Was she really, dattebasa?"

"She could get really scary... just ask Kakashi-san." Shisui chuckled and rubbed his neck awkwardly. "But other than that, she was fun!"

"Scary?" Boruto asked his dad. "What's he talking about?"

"Let's just say," Naruto replied, a scared expression entering her face. "She would probably whoop my åss if I acted up on her. You're lucky I don't act like my mom."

Boruto laughed, sweat-dropping. Thank God... he envisioned his dad getting angry... hell would break loose if tou-san got mad...

"Naruto is a strange mix of Minato-sensei and Kushina-san." Kakashi commented, chuckling. "Minato was cheerful, and by far one of the most chill people I knew. He could beat me at times. Sometimes I see that in Naruto. But then again... he got most of it from Kushina. Even her favorite catchphrase, which was dattebane."

"WHOOAA!!!" Boruto grinned. "Grandma Kushina's was dattebane?!

"Yeah." Naruto nodded. "I met her once... she was crazy."

"You did?!" Boruto asked, eyes widening. "She sounds awesome. Wish I could meet her." He mumbled under his breath.

Naruto smiled, but inwardly winced. I wish they could meet you too, Boruto, believe it. They would love you. And Himawari and Hinata. Mom would love Hinata. Naruto's eyes filled with tears. So he had to look away for a second, but he blinked them away quickly. They probably adore you, even dead.

"Hey guys." Older Sakura said, walking over and sitting down next to Kakashi. Now, Older Sakura had a very strange sense of humor, according to Older Sasuke when he pulled his younger self aside after she had sat on his lap. She had the normal, wicked prankster sense of humor, along with a cringey mom sense of humor. She also had a different kind- a rather... seductive sense of humor in a way... it embarrassed everyone who didn't know her, as Sakura had become stunningly beautiful over the years. She could flip a switch and be the normal funny, cringey funny, or mean funny. It was unpredictable. "How are you all doing?"

"Good." Shisui gave her a thumbs up. "I pushed Boruto into the lake earlier."

Boruto expected his favorite aunt to side with him and say that was a cruel thing to do to a little boy.

Instead, she fistbumped Shisui and asked, "Did he scream when he fell in?"

Shisui nodded proudly. "Like a girl. Naruto can vouch for me."
