The Grave of Candace Flynn: Come with me to Heaven
Candace stared at the gravestone for about a whole hour and fainted. She recovered quickly, however, but she can't believe that she's… No, she's not even going to say the word. She sat leaning on her own gravestone and wept bitterly. She pulled her legs closer to her and buried her head inside. She cried for several minutes but then she felt someone put a hand on her shoulder.
"Huh?" She looked up and saw no one she ever imagined of seeing again-her father.
"D-dad?"
He nodded. Then she buried her face into his shirt and cried.
"Am I-I re-really d-dead?" she asked through sobs.
He nodded again. She wailed sadly.
"You have to accept it, Candace, it's the fact of life."
She looked up to see he was smiling.
"I'm so glad to see you, my little angel."
She pulled away from her hug and smiled sadly. He reached his hand out to her and said sweetly, "Come with me to Heaven,"
She took a step back.
"But will I ever see them again?"
He shook his head.
"Once you enter Heaven, there's no leaving it. But it's fun all the same up there. You could never die again."
She shook her head as a response.
"Can I just see them this last time?"
Her father looked into her flickering blue eyes, but said, "Dear, wouldn't they be flattered by your appearance?"
At once she looked at herself and saw what she really looked like: her shirt was stained with blood, her legs were a little bent in an unusual way, her steps make a silent "crack", and when she felt her head, it was covered in blood.
"How do I see them?" she asked.
"There is no such way,"
"Just this once?" she pleaded. At last her father agreed to visit them. When they had arrived in the block, Candace asked: "How can I tone down my appearance?"
"You can't. But if you enter Heaven you'll be clean again."
She took a deep breath and-to her surprise-she walked right through the closed door. At once the lights flickered, this didn't happen before. She noticed that all four of them froze to their seats, and they looked terrified.
"No, no, no, no," Candace said, "I didn't come to haunt you,"
Yes, this is our normal Candace, they thought.
"Honey, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be leaving?"
"I just came by to say good bye," she said. At once Phineas jumped off his seat and rushed over to her to hug her, which was awkward, because he couldn't feel her, but it was the best hug he had given her all the same. She hugged him back.
"Candace, I-"
"Shhh…" Candace said, putting a finger on his lips, "it's okay."
Then she went over to Ferb and the three of them shared a hug that they never will know they'll be able to do again.
"You two, be good boys," she said to them, "and keep on building stuff so you'll be famous when you grow up,"
"Candace, we told you," Phineas said with tears in his eyes, "we don't do it for fame."
Then they laughed.
"I know. Tell Jeremy that even though I'm dead, I'll still love him dearly," she said.
Then they froze again.
"What's wrong?"
"Candace-you don't know?" Ferb asked, "Jeremy died because of pneumonia last week."
Instead of the expected sad face, she burst out a smile.
"Then we'll be together forever!"
"The old Candace," Phineas said.
At once they saw a white light go through the ceiling.
"It's time," her dad, surprisingly, appeared.
"But-"
"Come with me Candace,"
"Go ahead Candace," Phineas said while wiping his eyes, "we'll meet you there soon enough."
"You have that long," Candace said sadly.
"Bye Candace, we'll love you every day of every year!"
Candace waved then she walked through the light.
"Good bye," she said before vanishing,
