Chapter 1

This was quite possibly the last straw for me. There is no way in hell that I'm living through this year. I've accepted that, hopefully every other part of me will.

I knew what I was getting into when I left home. I planned it all out too well in fact. My parents were quite the pair, my father was the abusive one, while my mother was the one who was too in love with him to leave him.

After I turned 18, I did what I had to do. I grabbed my younger sister in the middle of the night. Dropped her off at my aunts house as my aunt would promise she'd take care of her, and now I've left. To hopefully attend at least a community college in order to get my sister, Lisa, back to me.

Currently, that is not the case. I hate running. I hate it so much that I would never do it unless I absolutely, positively needed to. In this case I did. All I was doing was drinking from a water fountain by the store when a group of very buff men started to ogle at me.

I tried being polite as always, but unfortunately they ended up following me into the woods. That brings us up to speed. I kept running, but I got so out of breath that I couldn't run anymore and had to slow down.

That had led me to stopping entirely, yet, just before they came near me, they took another look at me and ran away. Shrieking in horror may I add.

I don't know what type of animal was behind me, but I was eternally grateful. Even if it was going to eat me in a couple of seconds. I had made the grave mistake of turning around, because what I saw was no animal.

These were beasts.

Very large ones in fact. They were some sort of wolf dog thing, and there were four of them. Huge and massive creatures. I stood still, hoping that they would eventually leave me alone, but I knew they wouldn't. This was their turf, and I was intruding.

Then, the strangest thing happened. They all were humans. Out of nowhere. These wolf-men were also quite naked, so much so that I closed my eyes.

After what seemed like the longest two minutes of my life, one of the wolf-men grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder. I did not fight back, knowing I would inevitably lose, so I stayed put. Only asking one thing:

"Where are we going?"

I did not get answer. All of the wolf-men just looked at each other, almost as if they were having a conversation in their heads. Due to what I saw recently, that could be possible.

Not much happened, we seemed to be going into a house of some sorts, but this house was immense, it puts my old house to shame. We passed through the house and headed towards what seemed to be the basement.

They eventually placed me in what appeared to be a square cell. Bars made of silver all around me. I noticed they closed the door to my cell with gloves on their hands. If I were to live through this, I have a couple of questions I'd need to ask.

The wolf-men had eventually decided to speak out loud for a change. "Alpha will deal with her." The one in charge says. "I have no time for humans." He and his followers eventually walked away and left me alone in the cell all by myself.

I wonder what I would tell Lisa, should I get out alive. That some wolf-men kidnapped me for a bit? Maybe that's exactly what I'd say. Hopefully they let me explain myself before taking drastic measures.

All I would say, is that these men were chasing me. That's what happened. Plus, I had no idea that people can claim but chunks of land here. It's absurd, but when you have the money for it, I guess it's not all that bad.

I heard footsteps coming down to the basement, hopefully the 'Alpha' guy they sent down will plead my case, but if not, then I guess my time was cut shorter than I originally thought.

The steps got slower, the closer they got, and I couldn't help it as my heart raced when they got closer. So much so, that I put a hand to my chest, in attempt to slow down my speeding heart rate.

At first I saw the shoes of a man, and my heart rate slowed down. This must be the 'Alpha' dude. My eyes slowly travelled all the way up to his eyes, and he stares at me. We stared for a while, until he did something I wouldn't expect him to.

He put on gloves, grabbed the cell keys, opened he door, and hugged me. Tight. He whispered all sorts of things that I couldn't pay attention to due to my shock.

"I thought I'd never find you." He said as he stroked my hair, and for some odd reason, I didn't push him away, nor did I take part in the hug. I was just there. Waiting for something I wasn't sure of yet. A chance to talk? Possibly.

This man just held me, and I tried push myself off him, to state my case and get answers. He looked a little taken aback as I pushed him away, but he took a breath and it looks like that somehow answered his questions.

Strange people here.

I wrapped my arms around my body and looked to the ground before I spoke, but this man pulls my chin up so I'm looking at him. I purse my lips and just ask what I wanted to. "Sir." I started.

"Seokjin." He says interrupting me. "You can call me Seokjin."

I clear my throat before speaking again. "Well, Seokjin. I'm here by accident." I told him. "I accidentally stumbled onto your land, and I'm sorry if I disturbed you. I just want to go back."

He looks at me strangely, before he asks, "You're human aren't you?" Hesitantly, I nod. Who asks that kind of question? Seokjin seems to be thinking things over before he pulls me out of the cell, motioning for me to follow him. We go back up the never ending stairs and to the living room once again.

The house was beautiful. The walls were a nice cyan color, at least in this room they were. We were in what appeared to be the living room and the couch was in front of me. Seokjin had turned left leading us outside into the yard.

He turns around to look at me, and takes a breath. "I need you to believe in the supernatural for a minute."  I gave him a skeptical look, debating whether or not to make a run for it. "I will explain to you in a moment, but for now I need you to witness it." Seokjin pleads. Something about his voice made me nod my head involuntarily.

Seokjin started taking off his shirt and pants, and put a hand up telling me not to worry even though I was freaking out. He stood still for what seemed like the longest time until his whole body transformed into that of a wolf. Just like those wolf-men.

He bowed down and I hesitantly went closer to him. Seokjin kept his head down as I put my hand on him to pat his head. He had then let out some whimpers of joy and had a sort of smile on his wolfy face. "Can you, you know. Change back?" I ask. "There are some things I need to ask."

It seems as though he got it and went behind a tree taking his clothes with him. In the next minute or so, he comes back fully clothed, looking as good as he did before turning into a wolf. What did I just think?

He stood still. Patiently waiting for me to ask him the information I need. "So," I started. "Can I go?" I asked.

Seokjin shook his head before looking at me. "Since now you know I'm a wolf, there are some things I need to explain to you about our kind." I wait for him to continue and just gawk at him. "We have these people, who were destined for us. Our soulmates. Mates for short, and I don't even know your name , but you're my mate."

Well damn.

Thoughts on it? It's only the first chapter, but it gets my mind off of something's. Soooo ya there ya go :p
